Christine fell asleep several moments after John pulled out of her, she was trying to catch her breath when she mumbled "I love you!" smiling as she stroked his cheek and then dozed off.
John was worried she passed out which was most likely, she had been knocking back wine spritzers and various vodka drinks all day. John sighed and gently moved, sliding her off him, luckily she was still a deep sleeper he thought, then tossed a knitted blanket over her naked body and picked her up, laying her on the rug, then laying beside her and rolling her onto her side against him. She was snoring softly and he hoped they hadn't made mistake, he loved her and it all felt right but he was worried she would regret it the next morning as he kissed her cheek and cuddled her, his wife, the wife he still loved and always would love.
Finally after they had both slept for hours, Christine awoke softly, fluttering her eyes open. She realised instantly that she was on the floor and the night flooded back to her in soft waves. She held the blanket as she sat up, scanning the room of John, but she couldn't see him anywhere. She felt humiliated and used. She felt like she should have known better. John had a new girlfriend and clearly used her as a quick drunken fuck for old times sake. She felt stupid and clenched her jaw tight as she held back tears of anger and mostly deep hurt that she would never ever admit. She flung the blanket off and stumbled about for her clothes, pulling them on and feeling foolish. She staggered out of the studio and found her car, soon driving away. The hangover was awful and so was the used way she felt.
John came out of the bathroom and saw the empty room, his heart sank instantly. She had left him again, just when he wanted to sort things out the next morning, beg again for a second chance, but the love of his life, his songbird had flown away again, leaving his heart breaking again. He realised that maybe he needed to let her go, he worried he was bringing back hurtful memories of all the fuck ups he had done. He already hurt her enough, but in a way he felt like he had to fight for her, he just wish he understood why she took off, without even confronting him.

Lindsey smiled as he ordered a delicious breakfast for Stevie. He had woken up a little frazzled and hungover, but the sight of Stevie, curled up to him, naked under the sheet, had quickly made him realize what he thought was a dream, was actually reality, the commitment they made the previous evening, her words rang through his mind, like music to his ears and soul. He still felt a little insecure and worried though that she would feel different and had just be high, but surely she wouldn't, he wrestled back and forth shyly with his emotions as he waited for the breakfast.
The knocking on the door was loud enough to break his thoughts, he hurried over and opened it, taking the breakfast and quickly shooing the staff, started to see Stevie sit up and stretching in the bed "Morning angel!" He stuttered and was shocked to see her bite her bottom lip and then smile widely.
"Morning'" she said softly, her golden brown eyes sparkling as she sat cutely "Whatch got there?" She asked giggling as she spotted the tray.
"Breakfast in bed!" He winked.
"Wow, your spoiling me!" She laughed, all her doubts melting away as she saw his smile and the love in his blue denim orbs.
"You deserve spoiling!" He winked, nearing her and they started eating the breakfast together, getting lost in their newfound love that had reignited, feeding eachother and laughing, planning everything, like the house they would buy and Stevie planned names for the dog they would buy, it was all so perfect "Stevie, lets take a little holiday, forget about the album for a while?" Lindsey suggested eagerly as they cuddled in the afterglow of some more passionate love making.
"Linds, what about the record, you have been the biggest workhorse about hurrying it along!" She stated, tracing circles on his chest.
"Just a weekend trip, just us in a pretty hotel, dinner for two, just romantic bullshit!" Lindsey chuckled rubbing her naked back.
"Okay, sounds wonderful, lets go after some more kisses!" Stevie giggled, deciding to take a chance as she sat up more and kissed his lips, him gently stroking her golden curls that he loved running his fingers through "I love you Linds!" She smiled, biting her bottom lip as she looked at him.
"I love you too angel!" He grinned and kissed her warmly, everything was feeling wonderful, if only they knew what the future had in store for them.
