During lunch, Zelda was looking all over for Shulk, but she didn't see him any where. She decided to wait a little since she knew he had gym before lunch. She and Shulk had actually become really good friends over the summer. Sure, their relationship started because of their visions, but they talked to each other often enough as to become friends.

"Hey, are you okay? You seem kinda anxious," Samus said.
"I'm fine, I'm just waiting for someone," Zelda answered.
"Who?" Link asked right away.
"Chill, it's just Shulk," Zelda said.
"You two have been awfully close for a while," Link crossed his arms.
"Is there a problem with that?" Zelda asked.
"No, I just think you're spending too much time with him, and not enough with me," Link murmured the last part so she couldn't hear it.

Zelda started to get irritated.

"I'm his friend, so why is it wrong to hang out with him? Is there something wrong with Shulk?" Zelda asked. Samus tried to calm her down, but Zelda ignored her.
"There's nothing wrong with Shulk, he's a good guy, it's just-" Link started but didn't know how to end it.
"Just what? What is it? Why are you so-" Zelda stopped, realizing what was going through Link's mind.

He was jealous.

He was jealous of the amount of time she and Shulk spent together over the summer, which was just about a month. That made Zelda angrier. He was jealous of her and Shulk spending a month together, when she and Link had spent practically every day together for a year.

"You're jealous. You're jealous of the amount of time me and Shulk spent together this summer," Zelda said through gritted teeth.
"I am not jealous! I-I just-"
"You know what, I don't care. Link, just because I'm hanging out with Shulk, doesn't mean I'll stop being your best friend," Zelda said calmly. Link slightly winced at the word "friend."

"Did someone call me?" Shulk asked as he entered the cafeteria.

Zelda turned around with her food tray in hand. She turned her head and said, "See ya," before leaving with Shulk. Link slammed his head on the table and groaned.

"Ya really screwed up, didn't you?" Roy asked, catching his beanie that had fell from Link's head.
"Yep," Link said and sat up. "I don't even know why I'm so jealous! I know Shulk! He's not a bad guy, he would never hurt anyone's feelings on purpose. But I just, don't want to lose Zelda."
"You love her, of course you don't want to lose her. Maybe you should tell her how you feel," Marth suggested.
"I don't love her, I just, have, a crush on her," Link admitted, blushing a little. "Plus, I don't think she really wants to talk to me right now. And I still kinda have feelings for Midna." He murmured the last part.
"Well then do something stupid," Time said.
"And how do I do that?" Link asked.
"By being yourself," Ike smirked. Link glared at him and thought about it.

Zelda and Shulk walked to the main office, and asked the new secretary, Ms Isabelle, if they could see Master Hand. She turned around on her chair, and yelled to Master Hand that students were there to see him. Shortly after, he answered to let them in. The both of them walked behind the desk, and opened a door behind it. There, Master Hand... floated and seemed to be reading some papers, somehow. He put the papers down and put two fingers on his desk.

"Ah, Queen Zelda, Shulk, what may I do for you?" Master Hand asked.

Zelda and Shulk looked at each other and nodded.

"Master Hand, we fear something terrible will happen soon," Zelda said.
"What do you mean?" Master Hand asked.
"Me and Zelda have the ability to see into the future, either in dreams or random visions, as you know," Shulk said. "Zelda is able to control the visions a bit more then me, but the dreams are completely random."
"And our past few have not been normal," Zelda said. "What I'm trying to say is, they have been filled with darkness, blood, and battles. And one reoccurring thing is them are these glowing red eyes staring right at us at the end of each vision."
