Rain poured on the kingdom of Hyrule. Castle Town wasn't lively like normal. No one wore bright clothing, instead they replaced it with black. Small cries were heard as the people walked to the cemetery, where their king would be buried in just a few hours.

Zelda stood on her room, looking at herself in the mirror. She looked anything but pretty. Her hair was a tied up in a very messy bun. Her cheeks were red and puffy, just like her eyes. Any makeup she had on was now running down her face. Her clothes did not match at all. What a mess she was. She heard a knock on her door. She sighed and let the maids in.

"Alright, your majesty, your bath will be ready in just a minute," one of the young maids said. She had dirty blonde hair, and light blue eyes. Like Link.

"I'll prepare your make up and clothing while you bathe," the other maid said. She had navy blue hair and brown eyes. She looked like a RobCina love child. The first maid opened the faucet and let the tub fill with hot water. Once it was two-thirds full, she put a bath bomb in with a couple of bubbles. She then lead Zelda to the bathroom and helped strip her of her clothes. She helped Zelda into the bath and started scrubbing her back.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

"What can I say? My only family just died. How am I supposed to feel?" Zelda said. Damn, that was deep, the maid thought. She let Zelda bathe her front, and when she was done, she washed her hair. After she finished her hair, she dried her off and wrapped a towel around her body and hair. Zelda changed into a night robe and walked to her vanity, where the second servant was waiting.

She started by putting on her make up. Zelda stayed straight faced the whole time. After putting on her lipstick, the maid moved on to Zelda's hair. She air dried it first then straightened it a little more. She did her usual hairstyle. Before putting on her crown, she put on her formal dress, which was just her princess dress. Then she put her crown.

"Your Majesty, General Impa wishes to speak with you," a guard said from behind the door.

"Let her in," Zelda said as she put on her gloves. The guard opened the door and let her in. A black cloak hung from one of her arms, and a purple scarf on the other.

"Zelda, you are to wear this to the funeral," Impa said and handed it to the maids. "You all have five minutes to finish up before we go, so hurry." Impa exited the room and the maids helped Zelda put them on.

"This cloak was once worn by the princess of the twilight era," Zelda stated very quietly. "It is now used as a symbol of mourning, since the princess wore it while the emperor of twilight took over her kingdom. She mourned in it everyday, while praying that someone would save her land. This cloak will only be used when a saddening event occurs in our land." She knew the whole history behind that cloak, and she almost felt honored wearing it. She was wearing something that one of the most important people in the history of Hyrule was wearing. An ancient relic. Centuries old.

"That's right," the blond maid said. "You were too small at the time, so your father wore this cloak to the past queen's funeral, that's what I heard anyway."

"Yeah, me too, and you stayed beneath the cloak the whole time," the blunette maid said.

"Is that so," Zelda said quietly.

"Well, come, we'll guide you to the car," the blond maid took Zelda's hand and took her to the car at castle's front. A guard opened the door for her. She stepped in first then Impa did. The guard closed the door as soon as Impa was fully in. They drove away.
