The Battle for Ylisse: part 1

They didn't even have time to take a breath in their home before monsters started coming at them. Robin and Lucina stayed close, watching each others back while cutting through the hoard of monsters. Chrom had to stay back in SSBU, but he made sure to give the two of them a bunch of medical supplies and his many lucks.

Once they finally reached the town, they snuck past the monsters as best as they could. They noticed a troop of monsters coming their way, so Robin took Lucina's wrist and lead her down a alley. He quietly opened a door to an abandoned house and hid in the back corner of it. He stood in front of Lucina and flipped on his hood, hoping it would provide some kind of camouflage. He heard the troop run past the house, and sighed in relief once they were completely gone. He walked to the door and closed it fully.

"How are we gonna save Ylisse?" Lucina asked. "Did you see how many monsters there are out there?! How are we, two single people gonna kill all of them and gain back our home, my kingdom."

"Lucina, it's okay," Robin said and pulled her in for a hug. "We're gonna save Ylisse, okay? we just need to find their leader and defeat them, then it'll be easier to take out the monsters. Don't worry, love, I'll protect you, I promise."

The door slammed open, sending dust all around them. Robin tightened his arms around Lucina. There was a figure standing on the entrance. It had a feminine figure, and it was holding a sword.

"Ready or not," it said. It stepped forward, away from the dust. Robin and Lucina gasped as the figure stepped forward. Her hair was pitch black, pale skin, black armor with yellow stripes. Her eyes were blood red and her sword... She took it out from its sheath and pointed it at them.

"Here I am!" She finished.

"Are, you me?" Lucina asked. They looked identical, the only difference being their colors.

"Lucina, get behind me," Robin said. He stepped in front of her and raised and arm protectively. Lucina put her hand on the hilt of her sword, ready to attack. Robin grabbed one of his tomes while also holding his Levin sword.

"Oh I may look like you, but I am not you at all, but you may call me Dark Lucina," She laughed. "Now, how about you both die!" Dark Lucina charged at them, her sword pointing right at Robin's stomach. He blocked her with his sword, while Lucina stepped up from behind him and slashed her side, getting her off him.

"Lucina run!" Robin yelled.

"No way! I'm not leaving you!" Lucina said.

"Oh, but I think you might after this," Dark Lucina smirked, gripping on her healing side. She raised her hand and a dark orb appeared above it. She launched the orb at Lucina.

"Lucina!" Robin yelled. He launched himself at her, shoving her out of the way. The orb hit him, and vanished. Lucina let out a small yelp as she fell to the ground, but quickly crawled back to Robin. He looked like he was in a lot of pain, and his eyes flickered between red and brown.

"Robin," Lucina gasped.

"Let's see how much you'll love him now," Dark Lucina smirked and faded away. Lucina glared at her direction before turning back to Robin and putting his head on her lap.

"Lucina, you need... to get... out of here," Robin hissed.

"I told you didn't I? I'm not leaving you!" Lucina argued. Robin's eyes turned fully red for a whole three seconds before flickering back to brown. He grabbed her hand and squeezed it tightly.

"Please, I don't now how long I'll be able to fight it back," Robin groaned. A tattoo of an eye appeared on his cheekbone.

"Robin-"

"You have to go, and get away from here. I'm sorry to ask this of you, but you'll have to... ugh... stop me," Robin said, gripping onto his chest. "Please, Luci, do this for me."

Lucina felt tears on the brim of her eyes. She quickly wiped them away, and looked back down at Robin. His eyes were closed, and there were two eye tattoos on his face now. That looked strangely familiar to her.

"R-Robin?" Lucina asked in a whisper. He chuckled darkly and opened his eyes suddenly, a gust of wind launching Lucina away. She hit the wall with her back and slowly slid down to the floor. She slowly opened her eyes, and when she did, they widened. Robin was floating, and evil smirk on his face and purple fire surrounding him.

No... I thought we defeated it... how?! This isn't Robin, not even close to him.

"Man, I kinda missed this body," 'Robin' said, cracking his knuckles. He smirked at Lucina and raised his hand, lifting her and pining her against the wall. Lucina winced and opened one eye to look at him.

"It seems you've forgotten," He laughed,

"I am the wings of despair. I am the breath of ruin. I am the fell dragon, Grima! And it's time, for everyone to meet their end."
