That last few days went by so fast, it was already Saturday. I looked at my watch harry and Hermione got me for my 15TH birthday. It was 8:30 am. I laid in my bed for a few more minutes. Today was mine and Hermione's first date. I was excited yet felt ready to blow some chunks at any given moment. I looked at my watch again it was only 8:40 but I decided I should get up, maybe have time to shower and get first dibs on breakfast. When I got to the breakfast hall, ginny was sat down already. "Alright" I said. "Yeah fine." She replied quietly, hiding her face "Ginny what's wrong?" I asked "Nothing" she said quieter than before. "Come on you're my sister, I know when something's wrong" I protested, she hesitated but then spoke. " promise you won't get mad" she looked up at me her face red, blotchy and tear stained. "I'll try." Looking concerned "Me and dean had another fight, he thinks I like harry and he won't stop being controlling" she looked back at her food. "what a frikin' arse hole" I was fuming. "Ron don't say or do anything." She pleaded "I won't, I won't, but I have one question. Do you, you know.. like harry?" I cringed at the thought, "you did seem close on the train and Dean does deserve the truth. But I'm not in any shape or form sticking up for him. But if you do like harry, go for it." I tried to sound as enthusiastic as possible "really?' Ginny said in a chirpier tone. "You would be ok with it?" She questioned "yes, but don't be snogging in front of me.OK!" I replied. "Thanks Ron" Ginny practically skipped out the hall. It was now 9:30 and harry and Hermione walked in the hall. They both sat opposite me and started to fill their plates with food. "Morning" harry said "you alright." I asked "brilliant" he replied beaming. "Good morning Ronald" Hermione said in the cutest morning voice ever. It was husky and sleepy.. "How are you Hermione? Sleep well?" I asked "great! The best I've slept in weeks" she replied shoving a massive piece of toast in her mouth. After a minute of watching try to chew, breath and swallow the large bit of toast all at once me and harry began to cry with laughter, she had taken a way to big bite and was struggling after another minuet she managed to swallow it "haha, omg. are you ok?" I asked between laughter. "Fine" her cheeks went bright red in embarrassment. "So harry have you.. um spoken... umm Ginny?" I said cautiously "why?" Hermione said eagerly. Harry,now bright red said, "yeah I saw her for a quick five minutes, she said she was speaking to dean and that you were ok with it" he looked up "are you?" He asked anxiously "yes, like I said just don't break her heart." "Wow thanks Ron. I'm going to go speak to her. Catch you later" he said "see you." Hermione smiled, it was now just me and Hermione. "so I was thinking, I have some charms homework to do, so I a." I cut in, "HERMIONE, it's a Saturday and we got it yesterday. What's the rush?" I groaned. She glared at me, "as I was saying, I am going to the library and then I will meet you at 11 when I'm done. Also the early I get it done, the sooner i can get some more"She said excitedly. "Oh Wow!" I said sarcastically. "I think your blood mental" I said shaking my head in wonder "so you've said Ronald." She laughed "is 11 good for you?" She asked "perfect!" I replied in total awe of her. Getting up she turned and said "see you soon". "Bye"
I waved as she walked off, I looked at my watch it was now quarter past ten. I got up and walked to the common room. I sat and waited for Hermione and I actually read a book, it was one Hermione told me I would enjoy and to my surprise i did, although I was 12 pages in, it was good.

"Ginny, how do I look?" I ask worriedly. "amazing" she replied "you look good, but not try hard" she said . I sighed with relief it was 5 past eleven and I made my way down, ron was sat reading the book I told him about. "enjoying that?" I asked "yeah." He looked up "it's bloody brilliant. Why have I never read before?" He replied. "Ready?" I asked "yes,and by the way you look lovely" he said "thank you Ronald; you don't scrub up to bad yourself" I replied. It was and long and cold trip to hogsmeed and Ron complained about
Being cold, because unlike me he had one layer on, and I had four. I offered him my jumper and to my surprise he actually accepted. When we got to the 3 broomsticks he went to the toilet and I ordered 2 butter beers when he sat back down he asked me about my parents and if they enjoyed their trip to Australia, And then we spoke about his trip to Egypt and it was amazing I thought it would be awkward but not at all. "So you're enjoying that book I showed you" I said "yeah it's actually really good" he replied " fab, because there is a few others I have to show you like, the old man and the sea and.." Ron cutted in and said "whoa slow your roll h, I'm 12 pages into the last book. How about baby steps?" He said. I just laughed at him, whenever we are together we just seem to laugh. It was great I never knew someone to make me feel so Alive and safe at the same time and he liked me for me, and accepted my flaws, he encouraged me to do new things. I love his company and if all fails as long as he's my best friend for life I will be fine.

Wow, this is going bloody brilliantly! We have so much to talk about, and it's actually not awkward, that's what I feared, that all our stuff in common would just leave my brain and I would word vomit. But I didn't and like I said it was brilliant. "I'm going to the toilet" Hermione said and I snapped out of my thoughts. "No worries" I replied within minutes of her going. lavender brown, this weird girl in the year below, who is obsessed with me walks over. "So I see your date with Hermione is going well" She sniggered "just know I'm waiting for you won-won" she said gleaming. "Lavender I don't know how many more times to tell you. I do not fancy you, you need to find a new obsession before you get hurt" I said bluntly, at this point I didn't care as it was all the time she would bother me. She looked at me with disgust and anger on her face and with that she was gone. I heard Hermione sit back down, "having trouble?" She laughed "don't get me started" I said shaking my head, with annoyance. "Aww won won it's ok" she pouted. "That's bloody horrible if you were to ever do that again,  I don't think I could speak to you again." I said I had eased up now and went back to laughing. "I want a chocolate frog, now after that butter beer want to go to honey dukes?" She asked, with a sparkle in her eye. "Of course," i replied, "i never ever turn down sweets" I said offering my hand and with that we walked out of the 3 broomsticks and headed to the honey dukes. The walk was much more pleasant, and the snow had finally stoped.

"I'll get this" Ron said handing over the money. "You got the drinks so it's only fair" he said handing me my chocolate frog. "Thanks Ronald" I said unwrapping my sweet. "Do you have to call me 'ronald'?" He asked "as a matter of fact Ronald, yes I do, I like the ring it has to it and beside. I actually like the name." I said "fair enough, I don't mind you calling me it but, other people needn't start" by this time he was laughing with his goofy smile. Even when laughing how could on be so cute?. " it's getting quite late, do you want to head back?" Ron asked. No I was having so much fun, but we had to. "Yeah. Let's go" I lead us towards Hogwarts. "Thank you" I said "what for" asked Ron "today, it's been so lovely" I replied smiling. "You're welcome, and to be fair it's you that made the day." He said smiling back at me. "But i have one question, can I .. um maybe kiss you, maybe?" He was bright red "no" I replied, only to wind him up. He looked at me he was bright red "oh um, no worries then" he said "Ronald I'm joking, of course you can, and you don't need to as.." i didn't finish because he had already planted a kiss on me.
