Dear Ron, it feels like years since I have written to you; but I still think about you constantly. My first great grandchild has been born, a beautiful baby girl, Eleanor. She is only 2 weeks old and she couldn't be more perfect. It seems so surreal Jude being a grandad. I'm sure he will be great. Just like he was a great dad.

It is mine and cedrics 50th wedding anniversary tomorrow. We've got everyone over to Celebrate. Most of your family, friends from work and of course Harry and Luna. Not much has been happening lately so I have not much to say. I'll come to the bench today, and read for a little while. I'll leave my letter for you there. Love always.

I was awoken by the tweeting of birds high up in the trees outside my window. I reached for my glasses and looked out the window, It was a clear sunny morning. Perfect weather for a perfect day. I got to celebrate my wonderful 50 years of marriage to my wonderful wife. Hermione was still sleeping so peacefully and calmly.
A little while later she joined me in the kitchen for breakfast. "God I must be getting old. Even the stairs seem like a chore" Hermione said "oh dear, I wouldn't worry to much you're doing well, considering you're mid 70s" I replied "I told you not to be so loud about my age, Cedric! At least say mid sixties" she shot me a look and then smiled playfully. "Either way you look and act brilliant for your age, anyway don't know why your worried I'm older than you" I replied. I got up
Slowly and shuffled over to the kettle. "Have a brew that will perk you up" I told her. "That would be much appreciated" replied hermione.

We welcomed everyone into our home and soon the gathering was in full swing. We'd made the typical buffet food; tuna sandwich's and sausages rolls, etc etc. Everyone enjoyed it none the less. "I remember the first time I saw you, on our wedding day. your hair was half up half down, with little daisys intertwined in the braids, your beautiful floral dress, with the lilac and baby blue flowers, And your smile as you walked towards me,it was and will forever be the best day of my life." I said to hermione and to whoever else was listening. "I love you, Thank you for all you have shown me, I am a better person because of you and I am so gracious and blessed to have had you by my side all these years. I wish we could have another 50 years or more, with each other. No amount of time will be long enough." Hermione replied. I kissed her hand, and told her I loved her more than she'll ever know.
