"How was I being a douche?"

-

March 20th, 2013

Paris, France

This years birthday was probably the best birthday I've ever had. Besides the fact I had to spend it at one of Justin's concerts, it was amazing. I was sitting backstage like any other show, when the whole crew dragged me onto the stage with them. I was completely embarrassed and even though I gave Justin permission to treat me like shit he did the exact opposite. He made the whole arena sing happy birthday to me and it was the best expierence I've ever had. After that we went back to the tour bus and went to have a birthday dinner. It was one of the first birthday's where I actually felt loved in four years.

Right now I was packing my suitcase because we were heading to the airport for Switzerland. I was actually looking forward to go there because the weather was going to be similar to Canada's. Itwas always nice to have a reminder of where you came from---Beside the fact that my mother and I are no longer on speaking terms, I was happy.

As I was zipping up my suitcase, I heard two familar voices on the outside of the bedroom door. Considering Selena, Justin, and I were sharing a suite I knew it had to be them. Being as quiet as I possibly could, I opened the door slightly to see the two standing up, shouting at each other.

"Well, maybe if you weren't such a douche we wouldn't be having this arguement." Selena screamed as she pushed Justin basckwards. I watched as Justin stumbled, but then found his balance again standing right back up.

"How was I being a douche?" He yelled back throwing his hands up in the air. Selena started to shout something back at him, but before I allowed myself to hear it I shut the door and locked it sitting down on my bed.

I couldn't help but to feel bad that the two were arguing. They had been doing that a lot lately. Ever since I told Selena the truth to be exact. I know she promised me she wouldn't do something like this, but over the past month I noticed that she was distancing herself from Justin.

Every time Justin wanted to do something with her she would quickly deny it and say she already had plans. I knew she didn't and it confused me. I knew she was looking back at what I told her and I didn't want that. I tried talking to her about it numerous times, but she always denied it and said it wasn't because of what I told her. I knew she was lying though, but I didn't want to get her anymore upset. She couldn't be more obvious.

I stood up from the bed and put on a hoodie, grabbing my bag and slinging it over my shoulder. Unlocking the door, I swiftly moved out and passed Justin and Selena's argument, slipping out the front. The whole time we were here in Paris I studied the city and knew places to go. I really needed a breather at this moment so I decided to sneak out just for a little bit.

As I walked down the streets, I took the oppurtunity to smoke a cigarette. It felt as if I hadn't smoked one in ages when in reality it was just four hours. I wasn't that big of a cigarette addict. I could go a day without one but I choose not to. They help me release all the stress that's built inside of my body and help me keep my mind away from getting high.

I had probably been out for only half an hour when my ringtone blasted through the area and vibrating was felt in my butt. Quickly pulling it out I saw Alfredo's name pop up on the screen so I quickly answered it.

"Hey Fredo." I smiled into the phone. Fredo was actually very nice and sweet. He was always fun to be around and always had pranks up his sleeve. Though half the time he tried to pull one on me it back fired. He didn't know this but back in my day I was the prank queen. Nobody could get anything past me.
