*5days later*

The sun seeped through the curtains as I sat up in bed. Stretching my arms out I could hear the seagulls making noises. Smiling to myself, I brought my legs over the side of the bed before making my way over to the large sliding glass door.

Opening up the huge curtains, I smiled as the sight of palm trees being blown by the wind, and the ocean crashing onto the sand. I couldn't believe that I was actually here. It's been five whole days since I've been here and it still amazes me.

Sighing happily, I walked over to the closet where yesterday I decided I should probably unpack my suitcase and hang up clothes, I opened it. Rummaging through the clothes in hangers I picked out a simple yellow sundress and white flip flops.

After throwing on my outfit along with my bathing suit underneath, I braided my hair into two french braids. I didn't feel the need to put on any make-up because I knew I would probably be in the ocean later on.

I walked out of my bedroom in the rental house seeing that it was empty. Furrowing my eyebrows together I walked into the kitchen looking at the clock.

8:30 AM.

Chuckling to myself I knew it was way too early for any of them to wake up. Yesterday we were all out until three o'clock in the morning. We did a lot of swimming and even hiked the long path.

I placed my hands on my hips and looked around the whole kitchen. As my eyes swept across the counters I noticed there was a bag of BBQ chips that were already opened lying there. I knew it was early in the morning, but I was hungry and that was first thing I saw.

But honestly, who doesn't like junk food in the morning?

Grabbing the bag of chips I stuck my hand in the bag about to grab one when a sudden idea came to mind. Putting the bag back on the counter I walked over to the freezer taking the bag of skittles I bought out before walking back over to the bag of chips.

Ripping open the pack of skittles, I dumped them all into the bag of BBQ chips before shaking it to mix it up. Opening up the bag again I looked at the mixture smiling in accomplishment.

I grabbed a handful of chips tossing them into my mouth. As the taste spread I ended up moaning because of how delicious it tasted.

"What are you doing?" I heard someone laugh behind me. Turning around I saw Justin leaning against the kitchen door frame with an amused expression on his face.

"Eating chips with skittles, what else would I be doing?" I said grabbing another chip, eating it and giving him the most straight face I could put on.

We stared at each other for a few moments before we ended up in an eruption of laughter.

Ever since Justin and I made up five days ago we've been the best of friends. Not once did we get into an argument or even give each other a rude glance.

It made me realize that I should have never shut him out in the first place. When I came back into his life I had it set in my mind that I needed to hate him and I needed to make his life a living hell. I wanted to make him feel the pain that I felt in the two and a half years of pain he made me feel.
