It was late at night, and Jaylee walked through the streets of Moebius. Azure eyes looked up and sighed, crossing her arms around her slim waist as it started to rain, wrapping her jacket tighter around her.

She and Scourge just had a huge argument.

Jaylee had been with Scourge and his team for a while now, but never had he raised his voice to her like he just did. He yelled, telling her that she should be looking out for the whole team, while she argued back that he was a selfish hog with no means of teamwork - the rest of the team had watched the argument, but didn't dare involve themselves. It soon ended after a short battle that left both hedgehogs injured before Scourge ran out. Miles and Fiona tried to help the grey hedgehog, but she shrugged them off and walked out herself. The rain always seemed to calm her. Whether it was thundering or a dismal mist, it seemed to wash away her problems for a while.

Jaylee's ears were pinned back against her head, growling angrily to herself - why did what Scourge say get to her? She never usually bothered with what people said, but now that the emerald male was irritated with her, she felt disappointed in herself. Jaylee never wanted to anger Scourge, but she wasn't going to let anyone tell her that she wasn't good enough.

She already knew that.

What's worse, Scourge knew about her past and used that against her and now everyone in the team knows. He shouted it out without a care in the world, saying that she deserved what her sister did to her.

And that was the first time he saw hurt flash through her orbs.

Never once had Scourge seen her look so mad. Even when their lookalikes visited, even when Kintobor showed up again - this time was by far the angriest she had ever been. After that comment, all hell broke lose. Jaylee had attacked the green hedgehog, both clawing and growling towards each other until Miles shot them both away and Scourge ran.

Jaylee snorted, cowards run.

She was so focused on her thoughts that she didn't realise the dark figures sneaking up behind her until one grabbed her wrist and yanked her into a dark alleyway. Jaylee was roughly thrown to the ground, turning to look up and growl at her capturers. The three Moebians hid behind their dark cloaks, their sharp teeth being the only visible thing as they smirked.

"Looky who we have here, boys!" The front male sneered, grinning, "Looks like we've hit the Moebius jackpot."

Jaylee stood, clenching her fists, but even then the males where almost twice her height. The male on the right leaned forward, chuckling, "Looks like we've caught the King's gold, boss."

Jaylee crosses her arms and closed her eyes, snickering at his comment, "Tch, you really think so?"

The left one spoke up, "She's definitely been around him too long - she's starting to get his attitude."

Jaylee growled, opening one eye to glare at him, "Don't compare me to that hedgehog."

The boss spoke again, "Looks like she's a fighter. Okay, Missy, you better not shout or scream, or else we'll have to do this the hard way."

Jaylee rolled her eyes, "You think I need help to get rid of pests like you?"

"Pests?!" The right male snarled, hissing toward her.
