One shot 3 - Meeting the Boom Crew

"Sonic, why can't you just admit that you're lost and let me take over the map?" The speedy blue blur huffed and glanced over his shoulder at the pink hedgehog behind him. Her peach arms crossed as she waited for him to choose between the three crossroads ahead on which way was back to his shack.

Unfortunately, he wasn't having much luck.

"I swear this map is ancient." Sonic muttered, turning the map clockwise once again.

Amy Rose sighed, rolling her green orbs before snatching the map from the male in front. She glanced at the pouting hedgehog, a small smile curling on her muzzle. He wanted to be the one to get them home, but the rose female didn't have all night. The sun was setting through the trees and all Amy wanted was to be doing was costing up on the sofa in front of the fire with a nice hot cup of coco in her hands. The evenings in the autumn weren't as warm as the summer.

She twisted the map a full one hundred and eighty degrees, smacking Sonic upside the head, making him whine in protest, "Hey! What was-"

"You had the map upside down!" Amy huffed, holding the map up to show him. Sonic's wide eyes looked at her before glanced away to avoid her gaze. He pulled a nervous smile and tugged on his scarf before they started walking back the way they came. Just as they turned around, the two hedgehogs heard a familiar evil laugh coming from the trees, along with the smash of well known robots.

Sonic crossed his arms, "Heh, looks like we're missing out on one heck of a fight." They both ran towards the sound, their green orbs widening as they saw. A grey quilled hedgehog rolled out of her spin dash, landing in a crouch with one leg out, holding her balance on her hand.

"You're not getting away that easily." The evil genius, Dr Eggman, yelled, his fist crashing down before two more robots appeared from the trees.

Oh, you've got to be kidding me, the dark blue orbs of the female rolled, before her body disappeared into thin air.

"Eh?" Eggman mumbled, looking over the side of his Eggmobile. The two hedgehogs in the trees looked around for her, unable to see her form as she crashed through the robots, sending them flying towards the moustached male, his eggmobile flying straight into a high tree above her, "I'LL GET YOU, YOU GREY QUILLED RENEGADE."

The female came out of her invisibility state, wiping the sweat from her forehead. She huffed and was about to walk away until voice stopped her, "Whoa. I've never seen someone else take on three Eggman robots like that!" The female turned to see the blue male and pink female. Her blue striped quills stood on end and clenched her fists in front of her as she prepared for a battle. Sonic raised his hands, "Whoa, we're not here to fight. That was an awesome win, by the way."

The grey hedgehog frowned, crossing her arms, "It was?"

"Yeah, usually I'm the only one who can defeat Eggman alone." Sonic smirked, putting his ego on the line.
