Sera's P.O.V.
I quietly placed the last present under the tree with a smile. My big brown eyes looked across the tree to Loki. He was dressed in fluffy, green, pajamas with red Christmas trees scattering the fabric. A soft smile was on his slender lips and the dim light of the candles left a warm glow on his skin.
I looked around our festive Great Room and felt satisfaction rush over me. "I think it looks good. You?" My husband held a finger to his lips as he crossed the sea of boxes to reach me. I chuckled softly as he looked like he was in some kind o mission impossible.
When Loki reached me he stepped onto the carpet and wrapped his arms around my waist. My cheeks flushed as he pecked them lightly. "We don't want to wake up the little munchkins now do we?" I pulled myself into his chest and shook my head.
"No but remember last year?" Loki scoffed before burying his face in my hair. "Don't remind me." I laughed at him. "They woke up at 4 in the morning! It's already 6:30 I'm surprised they're not up yet." Loki shrugged. "They are getting older, dearest."
I frowned and searched for his vibrant green eyes. "I know!! It felt like only yesterday when they were babies. Now they're 10 years old?!" Loki hummed into my neck. "But if they are anything like me they will stop growing around 20. Then pick it up again in a few hundred years and stop around 30 and so on and so forth."
I rolled my brown eyes. "Yeah well humans don't live that long! Like me, I'm already 37. I'm getting old!" My husbands dark brows furrowed. "Darling, you're just a baby."
I chuckled and let myself relax in his arms. "Whatever you say, frost boy." He protectively held me closer and placed a kiss to my hair. "I-" Before the words could roll off his tongue four pounding feet echoed through the halls.
I pulled away from Loki and smiled at my sprinting children. "Morning kids!!" I cheered, straightening out my fuzzy pajamas. Sofia's long curls swam around her face as she halted to a stop. There was nothing but pure joy in her beaming green eyes. Her pajamas were identical to Loki's and mine. We had decided to make matching pajamas for everyone now that the kids were older.
A hawk soared through the air before flapping in place. Levi's body melted out of it's hawk form in a golden shimmer and landed on the floor with a thud. "Presents?!" Was the first thing he said. I laughed and Loki pursed his lips in thought. "Presents? For you? No! These are all for me!!!" He teased, spreading out his arms like he was protecting the gifts.
Sofia's giggle filled our ears before he soft voice spoke up. "Papa!! I'm pretty sure those are for me! After all I am the cutest one in the room." I scoffed at my daughter. "I bought them! If anyone deserves them it's me."
Levi swept his straight brown hair out of his eyes. "How about we share the gifts?" The family shared a laugh before we all took a seat on our couch. "That sounds good, you kids can go first!" The twins cheered before shredding through every scrap of wrapping paper they could find.

I placed the last dish inside the giant sink with a smile. "Alright!" I paused to lean on our large granite island. "What do you two want to do the rest of the day?" Levi and Sofia shared a mischievous glance. Then they shrugged and focused their eyes on the strawberry milkshakes they were chugging.
I raised a single eyebrow. "Oh no, I know that look. That's your 'up to something' look. What are you little minions planning." My children set down their cups at the same time.
Levi raised his hand to his chest in play-hurt. "Mother! How could you believe us, your perfect little angels, would ever do something like that? And on Christmas-I just-...... You should be ashamed!" He recited, trying to hold back a smile.
