Sofia's P.O.V.

I held Dylan's hand as we strolled down the streets of New York. His cheeks and nose were tinted with pink from the cold air and his black hair was ruffled in a cute fashion. He was in long blue jeans and a black t-shirt. Although over the black t-shirt he had a puffy grey coat on and a black scarf died around his neck. Because I was half Frost Giant I didn't need as many layers as he did. I was in black jeans and a simple red sweater that ran down my arms. My long black curls hung from my head and spiraled below my shoulders.

As we continued to walk around the busy city I couldn't help but smile. His dark eyes found his and we both a shared a small laugh. Then something stopped him. "Oh!! Wait here one minute!"

He dropped my hand and ran up to a small cart on the sidewalk. He gave the man some weird green paper and the man gave him and fluffy pink cloud. Dylan rushed back to me and placed the stick that held the pink cloud in my hand.

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at the cloud sideways. "What is this?" Dylan chuckled. "What, you've never had cotton candy before?" I shook my head while my green eyes remained on the cloud.

"Try it, it's good." He said, putting his hands inside his pockets. I became stunned. "You eat this thing?" Dylan nodded.

I slowly held it up to my lips and stuck out my tongue. The second my saliva hit the cloud it turned to pure sugar and my taste buds danced. A grin found my lips and I continued to lick the cloud.

"You like it?" Dylan asked, snaking his arm around my waist. I was too focused on the cloud to realize his hand was on my waist so I just nodded. "I thought you would! I do know my girlfriend pretty well and ever since you tried the Pixie Sticks I figured you liked sugar."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "I mean, you liked them enough to shower yourself and Tori's floor in them!" He finished with a chuckle. "Wait, what's that?"

Dylan looked down at me with a frown. "A Pixie Stick?"

"No, a girlfriend?" Dylan paused before answering me. "It's what you are. You're my girlfriend and I'm your boyfriend." I was still confused beyond belief.

"Okay but what does that mean?"

"It means that no one else can kiss you or date you. You're all mine. And the same goes for me, I'm all yours." My heart nearly stopped inside my chest. "Wh-WE'RE DATING?"

Dylan chuckled and stopped to face me full on. "Aren't we? Isn't that what we've been doing for the past couple days?" I thought about it before nodding. "Well yeah, I just assumed that wouldn't happen until you know, you met my parents or something."

Dylan laced his fingers through mine and we started walking again. "You're thinking of marriage. You can date whenever you feel like it." I furrowed my eyebrows but nodded.

"Earth is weird." I muttered. Dylan sent me a puzzled look. "I-I mean New York!! Because I'm from Texas....." Dylan nodded but didn't seem too convinced. I mentally slapped myself for slipping up.

*Mental Slap* There you go!

OUCH!! That still hurts!!

I know >:)

I ignored the voice in my head and focused on the sidewalk. Suddenly screams and honking erupted through the streets. I dropped Dylan's hand and picked up the pace. I hopped down to the street and dashed through traffic to find out where the chaos was coming from.

Dylan was yelling for me to stop but I ignored him. Only one thing could cause that much trouble and it was either a villain or someone coming from another world. Hopefully it was my parents.
