Levi's P.O.V.

A small warmth grew between my fingers as I rubbed my hands together in the brisk night air. I was wearing gloves, however they had no fingertips. I forced a smile at my sister who was standing at the water's edge. She was unfazed in her dark purple dress. She had a leather jacket on her arms and her black curls blended in with the leather.

"Why did you drag me out here?" She growled, Sofia was never really a night person. "I want you to use your Frost Giant abilities to freeze a good part of the water." She crossed her arms tightly and raised one eyebrow. "Why?"

My mind went blank. "Because I asked you too." My sister didn't seem convinced. "Why would you ask me to? What would you even do out here?" I awkwardly scratched the nape of my neck. "I don't know, maybe ice skate?"

Sofia let out a scoff. "Do you even know how to ice skate?"

"No."

"Then why would you want to-"

"Because I know someone who does." I interrupted, hoping Arianna would be here late. I didn't want her walking in on my and Sofia arguing. Sofia went silent before a grin grew on her lips. "You met a girl!!!!!"

I cringed and shushed her loudly. "Not so loud, she might be close!!" Sofia bit down on her bottom lip and did a tiny dance. "You met a girl and you're trying to impress her!!"

I let my shoulders drop and pinched the bridge of my nose. "So do you get the tickling feeling in your stomach too? Or like you start to sweat whenever you see her?"

"Yes and this is not how I imagined this conversation going." Sofia cleared her throat and walked over to the waters edge. I watched as she crouched down and allowed half of her skin to turn blue.

"I will do this for you as long as you will tell me exactly how it goes!" I rolled my eyes but nodded my head. "Fair enough, can you just hurry?" She mumbled something under her breath before dipping her fingers in the water.

The liquid froze in place and the crunching sound filled my ears. The dark black water was glazed into a soft ice-blue. It had a slight sparkle to it and was dusted with a thin layer of snow. Sofia stood on her feet and put her hands in the air. A snow cloud formed in the night air over the large circle of ice.

The tiny particles fell from the sky and Sofia sent me a smirk. "That should do it!" I let out a huff. "Show off." My sister did a little curtsy before walking past me. "I'll cover for you just tell me everything when you get home!"

I nodded and watched her run up the sand to the sidewalk. Once she disappeared I tucked my hands inside the pockets of my jacket. A faint smile graced my lips as I looked back at the ice. I just hoped it was enough to impress her.

A few minutes went by and I became lost in my own thoughts. I jumped at a tap on my shoulder. My body whipped around to see a blonde woman standing there. An amused twinkle was in her eyes while a soft smile remained on her lips. She was wearing a dark green jacket over her black sweater. Thick jeans clung to her legs and her hands remained in her pockets.

"You alright?" I breathed a smile and nodded. "I just didn't see you there." We both took a moment of silence before Arianna licked her pink lips. "So why did you bring me out here?"

"Close your eyes." I instructed softly. Arianna looked a little curious but she let her eyelids seal her grey orbs. I walked around her and placed my hands on her shoulders. She flinched slightly at my touch but quickly relaxed.

"Start walking and I'll direct you." Her booted legs began to move across the sand until we reached the ice. She almost tripped on the edge of the ice but I caught her. "You're alright, keep walking!" I said through a laugh.
