Alone. He was alone. And it was HIS fault. All his fault. His friend just wanted to help. It's all he ever wanted. Right?
Alone. He was isolated. And it was THEIR fault. All their fault. They wanted him to suffer. It's all they ever wanted. Right?
Alone. He was desolate. And it was IT'S fault. All it's fault. The demon wanted his pain. It's all it ever wanted. Right?

Scared. He was scared. He was a coward. Stupid, scaredy coward. It was no wonder his parents left him. Only his best friend would help him. No one else would put up with him. Right?
Scared. He wasn't terrified. He wasn't a coward. Spineless, gutless coward. It was no wonder they hated him. He didn't need or get help. He didn't need anyone else. Right?
Scared. He was petrified. He wasn't a coward. Useless, incapable coward. It was it's fault. No one else would hurt him again. Right?

Left. He was left. And it was his fault. His best friend tried to help, but he fled. His best friend raised him after his parents left. He cared for his best friend and his best friend cared for him. Right?
Left. He was abandoned. And it was their fault. He wanted to fight and get revenge, but he was forced to flee. They made him suffer after his parents left. He hated them, and they hated him. Right?
Left. He wasn't deserted. It made them leave. The demon tried to break him, so he fled. It corrupted him after removing his parents. He fought against the demon, and it thought against him. Right?

Hurt. He was hurt. He deserved to hurt.
Misery.
Hurt. He was damaged. They deserved to hurt.
Vengeance.
Hurt. He was tormented. It deserved to hurt.
Protection.

"Hello?"
A new voice...
Danger.
Safety.
"Are you ok?"

So, this was inspired by something I wrote in school for class work.
We were tasked to write a narrative about isolation.
I tweaked a few bits and pieces, but here's the original.
