To his left was a floating Beefy Computer hard drive.
"Apparently you have a level three here. It appears to be.. um... possessing this here Beefy Computer.""Uh-huh," The green one nodded.
He took a step back, before gesturing at the raptors to back up, "I'll try and make contact with it. Everyone back up. I have special ghost-like... abilities."
Of course he had ghost-like abilities. He was part ghost, after all. Both he and the ghost made odd noises, communicating with one another.
It went on for a couple minutes before the entity phased through the ground, leaving to pass on his message.Ghost explained what happened to them and how the mother ship was in orbit.
After a discussion on 'Papa Acachalla' and his and Ghost's first encounter, the mother truck arrived.
"There's the mother truck! Um, hello," he greeted as he stepped forwards and gestured for the raptors to back up, "everyone, back up. This is... gonna be difficult."Cracking my knuckles, he stood directly in front of it's yellow hood.
"Hello, truck!" He started, before taking on a very confident pose, "I am Johnny Ghost! I am this planet's.... paranormal investigator extraordinaire!"
'I need to work on my introduction....' he mentally noted.
"I am here to communicate... peaceful terms with... your people!"The truck inched closer, before responding, "Ok. Wha'do ya want?"
It sounded more like... some young lad rather then some powerful ruler of a race of paranormal entities."It sounds like Billy," the green velociraptor chuckled.
"Ok," he started, turning around, seeing another raptor, ".. Apparently they took Billy over at..."
It was purely brown with a lighter stomach and- unlike the others- no darker stripes on it's back. It- too- had yellow eyes, but lacked any other colours on it's face.
It had one 'hand' to it's head, and the other stretched out; as though it was using telekinetic powers.
"What is this?" He asked, confused, until it clicked, "Billy's possessed! Look!"
He pointed to the brown raptor before rushing closer, "Billy's controlling it!""No, Billy!" The blue raptor cried in despair as her possible family member continued puppeting the yellow truck.
"Billy! You're possessed! You must break free!" He exclaimed, standing right next to the raptor.
"I'll fix you, Billy! Don't worry!" The blue one continued, pulling out a handgun from... somewhere...
"Billy, they're controlling your mind!" Ghost yelled.
"Can I shoot him?" The blue raptor asked, pointing the gun at him.
"Sally, break him free!" He turned to the blue one, nodding for her to shoot.
Repeatedly, she shot him in the head, "I'll kill you!"
Eventually, the brown one collapsed, dead on the ground, "ow!"'.... wait....' he thought to himself, '... her name is Sally.... how did I know that?!'
He blinked a few times, feeling mildly dizzy from that thought.
How did he know her name? Was it really Sally?
He felt like.... he'd heard her voice before.... same with Billy's.
That's when he realised... he shouldn't have known his name either...From the name Sally, an image flashed in his mind...
A young girl, standing in front of me in an old, broken down house.
"Do you think I'm the murderer?" 'Ghost' asked her.'My voice.... what was wrong with it?! It was far too high pitched and.... crazed...'
'He' repeated my question to her, feeling my face give a wicked smile.
"Do you had waffles?" She asked innocently, hands behind her back, and her voice sounding very young and childish.
... like the blue raptor's..."Oh! I have... lots of waffles! Get in my van!" He replied, my gestures and voice greatly animated.
The memory faded- before one of 'Billy' came to mind...
He was looking at a young boy, talking to him with that same tone of voice.
"Papa Acachalla!" He suddenly called 'Ghost'.Ghost felt myself freeze up, a troubled expression on his face as though he was offended.
"I'm not Papa Acachalla...." he replied, insane voice shaky, "...you know enough about that..."'Ghost' stepped closer to him, seeing an intimidated look in Billy's eyes.
"My name..." he started, before pausing and smirking with some sort of sick pride, "is Ji-"Immediately, the memory vanished, replaced with the reality around him and a pain in his head.
It was almost like... he wasn't supposed to remember those things.... like he'd subconsciously broke down some mental barrier...... what was he on about again? He felt like he was forgetting something...
Why was his heart racing? Why was he sweating? Why did he feel so... disturbed....
Something about.... he couldn't remember.
It was like.... he had some kind of.... weird thought.
Like when you space out, then when you zone back in, whatever you were thinking of just.... vanished.Ghost looked back at the two colourful raptors, the feeling of forgetting something all but gone.
"Well, poltergeist over," he started before approaching the green one- who seemed to be the adult, "that'll be $264."The two remaining raptors were talking, before the green one noticed me talking to her, "what was that?"
"$264. That's my- that's my check."
"Oh..." she started, seeming as though she hadn't really thought about pay, "well, what if I threaten to eat you?"
Ghost felt himself twitch- as though something inside of him broke."... y- y- you d- don't wanna do t- that...." he snickered quietly, voice cracking, "t- trust me on t- that. Y- you don't wanna do that..."
"Well, you're kinda cornered," the green one continued, leering closer.
"G- give me.... g- give me my money...."he hissed, feeling his body twitch and hearing his voice high and crazed, "GIVE ME MY MONEY! NO!"
....He couldn't remember anything past that point....
