They pulled up at the location of interest.
Another abandoned building with strange noises and blah, blah, blah.
Same old schtick as always.
"Alright, we're here," Ghost stated, pointing out the obvious, and grabbing his bag from the car floor. With a silent nod, everyone got up, exiting the car.
As they reached the door, Ghost turned to face the interns.
"Ok, you pair, what's the first step when approaching a haunted premises that's abandoned?" He asked, folding his arms.
"Umm, t- the first step is..." Spooker started, pausing to think, "to walk through the door?"
"Go ahead then," Ghost shrugged, stepping aside, Spooker audibly gulping.
The youngest member approached the door, carefully creaking it open.
"Boo!"
"AAAAAAAHHHHHGG!" Spooker screeched, jumping out of his skin.
"Pfft," Ghost kept himself from laughing at Spooker's reaction to Colon's little joke.
"H- hey! N- n- not funny!" Spooker yelled, face bright red in embarrassment.
"It was a little funny," Toast stated, a small smile on his face.
"Ok, ok, go on through," Ghost instructed, calming himself from laughing.
With Spooker and Colon going first, they all entered, Toast closing the door behind them.
"It's dark!" Spooker exclaimed, gripping to Ghost.
"You have a FLASHLIGHT!" Ghost shouted, grabbing his own and clicking it on, "off. Now."
Spooker let go, finding his own flashlight (-note, we call those torches here, but I'm trying to keep with American words ;^;-) and switching it on.
"Ok. Toast, you and Colon take the stairs up and check the first and second floor. Spooker and I'll check the ground floor and basement. Make sure to report in if you find anything of interest," Ghost explained, everyone nodding.
Toast and Colon went up the stairs, and Spooker turned to Ghost.
"You wanted to stay with me?" Spooker gaped, joyed at his idol's choice to go with him.
"Who said I wanted to?" Ghost answered, turning away as he did so. Spooker decided to pretend Ghost hadn't crushed his hopes and dreams, following aside his boss.
