Ghost screamed and shot up, hitting his head against something.
"Ow!"
"Ow!"
Ghost groaned and rubbed his head, looking at what he'd hit.
It was Toast.
"Ow... why are you in my room...?" Ghost groaned.
"What do you mean why? You were crying," Toast answered, "are you ok? Another nightmare?"
"I... don't know.... I can't remember...."
Toast sighed.
While not uncommon or unexpected, it didn't make it any less... frustrating.
While he in no way blamed Ghost, the younger certainly made it no easier. Constant refusal of any help, avoidance of medication and therapy, no drive to recover...

"Yes, I'm fine..." Ghost huffed, getting up.
"What happe-"
"None of your business."
Ghost stormed downstairs, Toast quickly following in pursuit out of concern.
'Rude...' Colon mentally mumbled before going back to where he was working.
"Sir!" Toast called, trying to stop him.
"I'm going for fresh air," he hissed, clearly annoyed and frustrated.
Before Toast could even utter a sound, he was cut off by a loud slam.
He looked at the door, ".... sir...."
His tone was like that of a rejected puppy- full of sorrow and hurt.
Dejected, he dragged himself to the couch and waited.
... and waited.
...... and waited.
...... and waited......
He couldn't take the waiting any longer!
It was going to drive him insane!
Without even so much as a second thought, he grabbed a bottle and threw it back; ignoring the burning it caused.
"Johnny?"
He flinched and turned, meeting sad, scared eyes.
'.... shit....'
