Spooker was watching TV as he and Ghost waited for Colon and Toast's return.
However, Ghost's waiting was more intense.
He'd dragged a chair closer to the door and watched it- like a dog waiting for it's owner.

They pair hadn't said a word to eachother since their colleagues left.

Spooker was honestly worried for him.
Never had he seen Ghost look so.... lost.
He knew his boss didn't like to be apart from Toast, but it never seemed this bad.
Then again, the only time he'd seen them apart was during missions- and during that time, Ghost was too distracted with the mission to really think.

'Distracted...
That's it! I just need to distract Ghost. Then, he won't be so sad!'

The more recent ones were Alberto Guppy, College; and, of course, the founding members."

"The 'founding members'?"

"While Toast and I started the company, we had a few other members join. Dark Pit, Johnny Boast, Johnny Roast, and couple others."

"So, there were never any girls?"

Ghost's body jerked, eyes widening.
Hastily, he turned away, pulling his hood further over his face.

"Umm.... G- Ghost?"

Ghost didn't answer, not moving, staring intently at the door.

Was it something he'd said?
Why would asking about girls make him upset?
".... G- Ghost?"

Ghost stood up, before briskly speed-walking to the stairs, before going up them to the HQ rooms.

Spooker bit his lip, anxious and worried.
Colon was right.
Ghost was hiding something....
