He felt the car pull to a stop.

He looked around.
Back at P.I.E HQ.

Immediately, Toast opened his door, climbing out and looking expectantly at Ghost.
Too anxious to give a joke or to even talk for that matter, he quickly got out, following close behind.

Toast got to the door, finding it locked.
'Of course it'd be locked. I need to think properly. Hard to do it with Johnny being like.... this....'
Swiftly, he unlocked the door and entering.

Click

The lights flicked on, lighting up the entry area.
It was where clients signed in.
If they didn't call, that is.
Ghost often fell asleep there, overworking himself until he practically faints.
Toast just wished he'd think about the consequences of his actions for once.

Sighing, the Brit continued his walk, cringing upon seeing saliva on the desk.
He'd have to clean that later.

Turning around, he saw Ghost was still behind him, head lowered and face hidden behind the oversized hood.
He wanted so badly for Ghost to just replace that hoodie. It was too large for him and always creased because of him having to pull it up.
He knew that it was special to Ghost, but he just couldn't understand why.

He opened the doors into their living space.
It was a rather large room.
It was the living room, but was also connected to the kitchen- separated by counters.
It was mostly grey with some blue.
Ghost argued we wanted red, but... the colour had a... bizarre effect on him. He was... oddly giddy around it.

Continuing on, he went into the kitchen area, turning on the kettle when grabbing two mugs.
He dropped a teabag in the both of them, adding two teaspoons of sugar to one.
While he didn't like sugar in his own, Ghost had a preference for sweet things- as much as he didn't why admit it, seeing it as kind of childish. Toast didn't understand why it would be, but it was Ghost. He was known by his friends for his.... strange behaviour...

Then, he heard footsteps on the stairs.
