Once the outpost cleared, the soldiers camping there spoke first, "We were forced to evacuate the city a while ago... we've just recently got sent back. We have a large food supply there, which we took and lived off for a while. Since our outpost was overrun, we've been particularly committed to eradicating every zombie in the state, to collecting every batch of the terrible drugs that caused the international outbreak. However, our third order is one we cannot reveal." a surviving soldier said.
Another soldier advanced towards the scavenging group, "Sorry about our friends, strangers. I'm Jack, this is Clyde and finally we got Bryan. The others... well, they won't be needing an introduction. Us on the other end, still have our duty to accomplish."
Hannah, the leader of the mountain's rangers, examined each soldier quickly. Clyde seemed to be incredibly tough, skilled, and personally competent. Although he was only second in command.
This soldier sweated leadership and had his own way to communicate land strategies with his crew to keep their tactics unrevealed.
Hannah grew irritated by the soldiers signals, "What the hell are you guys doing?"
Bryan stepped up, "No offense, darling. It's how we live... how we have outlived most of our species. Whatever you have... we won't want to carry it to where we're going."
"Yeah! I'm sure you won't be going anywhere near me. Keep those little signals to yourself."
Impressed by her skills, Jack was the first to offer, "I'm guessing you served too? You should come with us. I see your weapon of choice appears to be an AR-15 rifle with a collapsible buttstock, long-range scope, M-LOK handguard, and a compensator, which is used to snipe targets from mid to long range."
