Years ago, surviving entirely by herself seemed impossible. As Hannah saw more of the broken world, encountering other survivors, drawing them under her wing and building settlements of their own, relying on each other to perform menial tasks, while other focused on looting the neighboured areas.
In order to survive, Hannah's scavenging parties had to collect resources from the surrounding the area, either manpower, natural resources to build their own safe haven.
It wasn't easy to foster all these strong willed survivors and growing food. Hannah's lead had raised their faith has they scavenged, foraged, and improvised their way to an artful meal.
Under her leadership, her people had become adept at scavenging limited resources to their advantage in order to combat the dead.
Since the outbreak, eating had became hard, and doing it successfully was an art. No more trips down to the local farmers’ market. No more microwaved meals and intimate dinner parties.
Whether they held up in their own logged camp or bugged out  further into Scar County. While Hannah's rangers scavenged the dregs of society. Others took over agriculture and security at the heaven.
Unfortunately, the larger their settlement got, the more frequently it was attacked by raiders. On the run, she always worried attacks would occur when she wasn't around to aid in the defense of her community.
Hannah sat down on a bench as she looked out at the far out sea, realizing how much her life resembled it. No burden, no emotion, no order.
Alluringly, she would blink her eyes from time to time, allowing her eyelashes to flutter like the wings of a butterfly.
Clyde couldn't get his eyes off her, "My god, her eyes are simply spellbinding."
His brothers-in-arms left to their designated shacks, while the hypnotized soldier sat next to the mysterious blonde, "I would like to thank you for allowing asylum to me and my friends. Also for not shooting at us out there. Your haven is save with us. We shall leave early and be on our way."
