"Not a chance! Everyone uses signals these days and this weapon covers my ass daily!" Hannah bellowed." Needless to say, she was annoyed. After all, meeting strangers often cost her a living and often became a threat to the haven, "I must not be separated from my people. We have suffered repeated casualties, but we still stand. You may rest at the haven for tonight. Then you guys are on your own."
Accepting, they walked the torn road that led to this safe haven. With a simple glimpse of an eye, the gorgeous leader's acolytes knew what was expected of them.
Walking through a ghost village, both men walked behind the soldiers, tracking their every move ready to protect the fostering blonde with their own life.
Grass filled the labyrinth of cracks and sand covered whatever was left. Dust and debris littered the roads within town while unkempt gardens were cluttered with forsaken possessions. Paint crumbled off of the walls and were slowly replaced by vines that crawled their way to the rooftops.
Doors were boarded up tightly and some showed signs of painted symbols with meanings known only to those who put them there, but whoever put them there's long gone too.
The nearby tracks were covered in shrubs and fallen branches. Nobody was waiting for the next train anymore, no longer eagerly going to the next destination or waiting for those coming home.
Silent creepers held onto most trees, and an array of flowers, which claimed remnants of light, added playful elements to the otherwise unvarying landscape.
A hodgepodge of beastly sounds, most belonged to critters, brightened up their travel, and formed a chaotic orchestra with the barrage of noise coming from a waterfall in the distance.
Built atop gentle hills and is truly a future oriented sight. Hannah's haven's elegance was matched by the backdrop of gentle hills which have helped shape the settlement to what it is today.
The materials these hills brought were of great importance, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs as the vast majority of buildings have been built in various logged shapes and sizes, which mimics the playfulness of the hills around them.
