No problem! After all you guys did help us out there... where are you guys heading anyway? I thought the army was living large somewhere looking down on all of this madness."
"We did have it good, for a while. We attempted to contain the outbreak, but we were ultimately overrun by those freaks. As such, many scattered outposts, vehicles, and equipment remain behind as many of our members have either fallen victim to the hordes of zombies. I believe some have retreated elsewhere. Jack doesn't want to hear about it.
"This would imply that many other areas such as this are still active to some degree. Even if some military outposts are still functional, their influence will be minimal, as massive areas remain unpoliced."
"The truth, no matter what it is, cannot be good."
A deep silence fell upon them. Both unfortunate. Fear was their common denominator. And they bonded like they had with nobody else. Human contact and interaction soothed this trial they shared.
During this time, Hannah developed a closer bond with Clyde, allowing him to forget the emotional trauma that stemmed from his own fatalities, for this time being.
The soldier dared to ask, "Does this queen have a king?"
Hannah stayed motionless, trying to avoid getting attached with the man, "Everyone dies... its hard to find time to get intimate with anyone these days."
"I totally understand. It would be strange to do so with all the snarling over these walls."
Hannah giggled, hiding her popping cheeks with her hand as if it was forbidden, then she starred a Clyde profoundly, whispering to him, “Thank you."
As the evening continued, settlers moved on to there shacks, Clyde knew he might of shamed himself into embracing her too roughly.
