Radio: "Casualties cessed to mount as many well-protected and well-supplied but weak-willed humans take their own lives out of sheer despair. Burned-out cities, silent roads, crumbling homes, abandoned ships rusting offshore, gnawed and bleached bones scattered over a world now ruled by the brain dead. When things will have quieted down, humans will be organized, evacuated, or completely devoured.
Alone, inside her horrible reality, Hannah panted, “We had finally succeeded to re-create a tiny corner of civilization. Is the old life is gone forever?” Hannah wondered, tearing through the bloody settlement.
At this point, sadly, negativity took over. Time seemed on the side of the undead. With each day, their ranks had swelled, making containment and extermination more and more difficult.
Unlike its human counterparts, the armies of Braindead were completely independent of support. Bloody zombies required no food, no ammunition, or medical attention.
The braindead didn't suffer from low morale, battle fatigue, or poor leadership. It did not succumb to panic, desertion, or out-and-out mutiny.
Like the evil seeds that gave it life, this undead force continued to grow, spreading across the Deadly Regions until there is nothing left to devour.
On the other hand, the killers who raided the camp were monsters. The vicious killers stopped at nothing to control every inch of the land they could get their dirty hands on.
They had exterminated innocent survivors, looted the camp and torched the gardens, leaving the place crumbled to the ground, covered with corpses and inactive zombies.
Sadly, these would be nothing more than memories for her to keep. Here she was alone again about to navigated the wasteland, making the most of what she could find before abandoning the place.
