Forward, Katiara. Danger if you stay. I screamed as the voice woke me up. Luke jerked and jumped on top of my body, as if an attacker caught him off-guard and went straight for me.
"Luke! Get off, I'm fine!" I pushed back on his chest, but his arms were still grabbing the back of my shoulders.
"Oh my gosh Kat, what happened? You scared me to the two suns!" His eyes still looked of worry and panic.
"I was just asleep and the voice told me to go forward. We have to set out now. How long was I asleep?"
"Almost the whole night. I think it'll start getting light here pretty soon."
"Luke! I told you we could sleep in shifts!"
"Yeah, I know. You need the sleep more than I do." The dark circles under his eyes were more visible than the suns in the sky at dawn.
"No, no, no. I'm no more important than you."
"Fine," Luke sat up,"you can drive while I sleep."
"Fine." Forward.
Bit of a time hop
The suns rising was a beautiful sight, despite how they almost made me blind. Driving into them wasn't the best idea, but I knew I had to go forward.
Almost there, the voice said. Keep going...
Little bit more of a time hop
There I saw a broken down, demolished house. Could it even be considered a house anymore? I stopped the speeder and woke Luke up.
"Luke!" I shook his shoulders. "We found it! It has to be it!" He grabbed the side of the speeder to assist him in sitting up. He took a good glimpse ahead.
"Kat... there's something I need to tell you." His heart sped up along with his breath.
"What?"
"I've seen that place in dreams, or nightmares. You don't want to know what I saw then."
"What do you mean, Luke?"
"I feel something... danger... my dreams have seen more than anyone could ever imagine." He grabbed my hand, as it was sweaty.
"What are you-" He cut me off once again.
"Something is over there... I can feel it."
We went on foot to investigate the rubble and wreckage that was left.
