I wiped my tears as I stared at the letter. Why didn't he tell me? I thought. I re-read the letter and sighed. I stared at the date once again. “okay I can do this” I said. “I’m back” George shouted as he closed the door. I got up and quickly placed the letter in the envelope and back into the back of the drawer. I composed myself and ran into the bathroom as I realized my eyes were red. I continuously wiped my eyes trying to show no signs of tears. I can't believe he hid this from me,for so long. I had a month left to spend time with him. It was currently April,5 Wednesday. I have to go for a walk.

I looked in the mirror and saw my face pale. I placed my hair in a ponytail and walk out the bathroom toward the closet. I got Grey sweats and a white t-shirt. I laced up my white Nike and placed my phone in my pocket. I walked downstairs and saw George preparing lunch. “hey bae” he said. “ hey” I said. He turned toward me and saw a frown appear on his face. “are you okay?,are you feeling alright?,you look pale” he said. “I’m fine I’m just going for a walk and maybe a run as well” I said. “I’ll go with you” he said. “no I’ll be fine ill be back I have my phone with me” I said

“love you” I said as I walked out the door. I sighed and started walking to who knows where. I walked down the street,block,after block. Just thinking of the reasons George didn't tell me. Of course I’ll be hurt,but the pain is worse. When he kept it from me. I just wish he told me sooner instead of later. I stopped walking as I realized where I was. I walked up the cobblestone steps and knocked on the green door. “Lizzie it's been so long,come in,come in” Amelia greeted me. “it has been long I apologize for the long distance” I said. “oh honey it's okay so how are you?” she asked me.

“good and you?” I asked her. “I’m fine so where's Richard,and Lisa?” I asked her. “Richard went to pick up Lisa from school” she said. She placed the tea on the coffee table. “it's great that you came by to see us” she said. “you are always like a daughter to me” she said. I nodded and looked over at the picture of Jackson. “oh I have something for you I would've gave it you months ago,but jack's funeral and all” she said. “yeah” I said. I watched her get up and walked upstairs. I looked over at jack family portraits on the wall.

“here we go” she said as she walked back. She handed me a circular wrapped present. “happy early birthday” she said. I looked up at her. “ I wanted to give it to you ahead of time,because were moving soon” she said. My eyes snapped up to what she said. “ I know,but Richard and I feels well if we move,well make this our vacation home” she said. I nodded. “were moving to Houston,Texas” she said. “that far” I said. “yeah it' just complicated we felt that it would be better for us all” she said. I bit my lip. “you know Lisa she,she was depressed so much . We figured because she locks herself in her room,the death really hit her hard,her and jack was the dynamo, we took all the therapy and groups she needed and she stopped,but she still cries at night,we helped her realize it's okay to miss him. We want to get her out of here and my sis Rebekah lives in Texas” she said. I nodded and wiped my tears. I'm going to miss you” I whispered. “were going to miss you too” she said. “ I hope the lovely men in your life is treating you well” she said. “how did-tell Johann I said hello” she said. 'will do give Lisa and Richard a hug for me and when are you guys moving?” I asked her. “April,30” she said. “okay I’ll be there” I said. “Lizzie do one more things for me,don't ever keep secrets from the person you love because it can cause greater damage then it intends to” she said

I nodded and walked out the house. I grabbed my phone and text-ed the gang to meet me at George place. If George is leaving then mike and john must be leaving as well. i held the circular present in my hands. I still didn't know what was inside of it. I walked closer toward the house. I stopped and saw the gang was here. I quickly walked up the steps and unlocked the front door. I opened the door and walked in. “Lizzie” Johann shouted out. “ yeah it’s me” I said and closed the door. “are you okay?,we got your texts” mike asked me. I closed my eyes and sat down on the love seat.

“Lizzie what's wrong?!!” George asked me worriedly. “you all sit down first” I said. I closed my eyes and fumbled with my fingers. “i don't want any secrets between us” I said and looked each one in the eyes. “of course mike said. “omg are you pregnant?!!” Johann screeched. “what?!” I said. “omg you must be” Johann screeched. Everyone eyes were on me and George. “why would you think that?” I asked her. “well I just thought because you talked about secrets” she said. “no all I ask of you all is to tell me the truth” I said. I looked at each one in the eye.

Mike was squirming in his seat. “okay fine” mike sighed. “ I posted a pic of you and George cuddling on my facebook page” mike said. “you what?” me and George shouted simultaneous. “yeah you guys were so cute together so yeah” mike said nervously while rubbing the back of his head. “ okay um anything else you guys want to tell me?” I asked them. I sighed as I saw the guilty look on each of their faces. “nothing?” I asked each one of them. “okay fine I have something I want to confess” I said. I took a deep breath and hold back my tears. “ I know” I said. Their eyes went wide for a second. “what are-I know you all are leaving on my birthday” I said.
