Goodbye

Last chapter! :( but read my last a/n it'll explain a lot!

Cristina hands me a box and I stuff it in the trunk.

"That's it?" I ask.

"Yup." She says smiling. But I don't smile back.

"I'm gonna miss you Cris." I say. She frowns and pulls me into a hug.

"I'll only be and hour away from you hoe. I'm gonna visit." She says. I laugh and pull away.

"You're right. But I'll visit you too, check out your campus sometimes." I say smiling. She chuckles.

"Yeah, right... campus." She says sighing. I laugh.

"You'll be fine," I say. I take a deep breath. "I'll FaceTime you when I get there okay?" I say. I feel my heart sinking knowing I won't see her for a while.

"You better. And text me everyday. I swear if you don't I'll go down there and slap you." She says. I can't help but laugh.

"Okay okay I promise." I say. She gives me a sad smile and pulls me into another big hug. I smile.

"I love you Cam." She says quietly.

"I love you too Cris." I say back. I pull away. She stands on the curb and I go to the driver side.

"I'll see you soon!" She yells. I smile.

"Bye! See you later!" I yell back. She smiles and I get in my car. I turn it on and start driving away. I turn on my phone and play my music through the aux. I drive through the neighborhood. I look around and I drive past his house. I slow down slightly to see if he's out there but he's not. Neither is his car. He must have already left. I frown and drive away.

I'm getting a fresh start. No more.

As I get there a woman greets me and gives me a big cart to put all of my stuff in. I start unloading my stuff. It would be nice having someone be with me to help me and say goodbye to me. Someone I could say I'll see you at Thanksgiving. But I don't.

As soon as I'm done I go and sign in. They give me some planners, my schedule, a map and some other extra things. Then they give me my dorm room number and dorm key. One of the girls offer to help me find my dorm and I gratefully accept her offer.

We walk a little ways through the campus and it's absolutely beautiful here. As we're walking she informs me on some things about the School. She seems nice.

We walk in a building and go into an elevator. It goes up a couple floors and once we get out we go down into a hallway. We walk down a couple rooms and she stops at one that reads '436'. I unlock it and open the door. We both walk in and I see only one bed. I furrow my eyebrows.

"Oh did you sign up for a single dorm?" She asks. I turn to her and raise my eyebrows.

"Uh no. I don't remember doing that." I say.

"Oh that's weird. Well if you want to change it you can go to the administrators and ask for a change of dorms." She says. I nod and look around.

"I think this is fine for now." I say smiling at her. She smiles back and nods.

"Okay well my name is Kelly if you need anything just ask for me." She says smiling. I nod.

"Thank you. I appreciate it," I thank her. "And my names Cameron by the way." I say.

"Cool well I hope to see you around Cameron." She says. I smile and she walks out of the dorm. Then I'm alert with silence. I sigh and look at my boxes of stuff. I start taking them and setting them around my room.

I put my mattress on the bed and then set that up first. After I do that I sit down on my bed and sigh. I'm not in the mood to do anything else right now. I lay down and stare at the ceiling.

My first day of college is tomorrow.

Which means, a whole new life is slowly coming to me.
