Chapter 12: Surprisingly interesting taxi ride

Dan's view

I stuff the backpack with out leftovers and call a taxi. Phil was hugging me outside of the resteraunt because he was too cold.

"Alright I just called the taxi. It should be here soon." I said patting Phil's head awkwardly. "Okay..." Phil mumbled as he let go of me. "Dan why is it so cold?" Phil groans. "I-I don't know..." I said as I wrap my arms around him. Phil's eyes widen and I couldn't tell if his cheeks were pink because of the cold or because he was blushing. "Is that better?" I ask. Phil nods.

I let go of Phil and pull out my black jacket from the bag. "Here." I said as I put it on Phil's shoulders. Phil grabs it and put it on. "Thanks. Does it look nice?" Phil asked. Omg. The black jacket and the blue concert tee goes well with his eyes. God damn it I'm in love with an angel. "U-Uh. Yeah..." I said looking away blushing. Phil hugs me. "Thank you..." He whispered.

We were so distracted we forgot about our taxi. Phil wouldn't let go of me so I had to awkwardly shuffle over to the taxi door. "Alright where you going?" The taxi driver asks. She had long curly brown hair and brown eyes and pale skin. "We're heading to the park in Manchester." I said. "Alrighty then." She said as she started to drive.

"Dan are you gonna wear that to the concert?" Phil asks still hugging me. "Well of course not. I brought some black jeans and I'm wearing the black concert tee as well." I said. "Did you bring me anything?" Phil asks. "Yes. I brought the cheese costume." I said smiling. "NOOO!" Phil groaned. "I'm joking. I brought blue jeans and an extra jacket of mine which you're wearing right now. I know I forget and am usually unprepared a lot but I planned this date months ago." I said.

Phil lets go of me. "Wait but what if I asked you out before this date?" Phil asks as he stretches. "Haha! You think I didn't plan that out, do you?!" I ask. "Well I-" I interrupt Phil. "Obviously I planned what would happen for that! I'd ask to marry you!" I said smiling. "Wait... WAIT THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!" I said with my eyes widen. Phil starts laughing. Embarrassed, I look away. Phil grabs me and spins me towards him. Phil kisses me with his hands cupping my face. Phil lets go. "I think we both know the answer is I do..." He said in a serous tone. I start blushing. "R-Really?" I ask. Phil let go of my face.

"Dan... Yes, yes really. I love you with all my heart... I would never want to lose you and never ever want to hurt you. But as of now... Let's just wait for the proposal to happen. After all it's only our first date." Phil said blushing. I smile softly. "T-Thank you... I love you too..." I mumble. Dan you do realize the taxi driver can probably hear you. OH GOD DAMN IT I DONT CARE! Okay Yeesh sorry...

We sit in awkward silence for a while. I slowly move my hand towards Phil's. "Hey Dan?" Phil asks. I jumped and moved my hand back. "Uh yeah?" I ask. "Are we gonna be making a Phil is not on fire video when we get home?" Phil asks. "I mean do you want to wait to announce that we're... You know... Dating?" I ask. "I don't know..." Phil said. "I'm worried that our fans won't approve..." Phil mumbles. I smile softly. I grab Phil's hand. "Oh Phil. Our fans have been... Ugh... I cant believe I'm saying this. Shipping us... They've been wanting us to date forever now!" I said. Phil holds my hand tighter. "I know..." Phil mumbles. "Hey trust me. If anyone ever disapproves of us, screw them! It's not their choice for us to date or not!" I said smiling. Phil smiles back at me. "I'm sorry for keep asking the same question. I just never had a boyfriend before... I mean I've had a girlfriend but never a boyfriend. Not saying that I'll cheat on you for a girl. I mean there's nothing wrong with girls! Or boys! Genders don't matter!" Phil started to ramble.

God Phil has been rambling on for a while now. Maybe do something about it. Like what? Pfft I dont know! After all I have the same thoughts as you! Because I am you! Ugh fine. Ooh I know! Just nothing stupid, okay? Yeah yeah whatever.

Without thinking I cup Phil's head and kiss him. Phil's eyes are wide open. I let go of him embarrassed.

I said nothing stupid! Well you're the one who does most of the stupid things so I'm blaming you. WE'RE THE SAME PERSON! Pfft whatever.

"I- I uh..." I start blushing. Phil smiles sort of. "It's fine. After all, I do love you. Like a lot..." Phil said blushing. He scratches his head embarrassed. Phil looks away. "Ugh I can't help it when you're so cheesy and dorky!" I said as I hug Phil tightly. I blush a little. "You know... I have been waiting for this day to happen forever..." I mumble embarrassed. Stop with the cheesy crap. "I know this is cheesy but I really have been waiting for this day forever..."

Phil's view

I and look at Dan. "R-Really?" I ask. "Of course I love you I always have." Dan said blushing still hugging me. I smile. "I always have too... I've always had a crush on you..." I said embarrassed letting go

not making eye contact. Dan hugs me tighter. "Never ever leave me..." Dan mumbles. I smile. "I never will ever leave you." I whisper in his ears. Dan smiles.

Dan grabs my hand. "I love you so much that its too cheesy!" Dan said smiling. I laugh. "You too..." Dan wraps his arm around me. "God its only our first date. I wonder what it'll be like this everyday." Dan said smiling. I blush. "W-What?" I ask. Dan looks at me embarrassed. "Did I say that out loud?" He asks. After staring at me for a while he lets go and buries his face in his hands. "Oh my god." Dan said shaking his head. I giggle a little.

Dan's view

I smile softly. Phil is so cute when he giggles god dang it I am dating the cutest man alive. Phil grabs my hand. I look back up. "You're such a dork, Dan. But you're my dork." Phil said smiling looking in my eyes. I start blushing. "T-thanks..." I said.

"Hey you're here. That'll be 15 pounds." The taxi driver said. Phil handed his card. "Thanks." Phil said smiling. She handed the card back. "Have a nice night." She said.

We walk out and see the giant building. "I guess this is where we see muse..." I said. Phil grabs my hand. "Where's the entrance at?" Phil asks. "I don't know. But lets find a bathroom. I need to change." I said. Phil puts on the backpack. "Alright..." Phil said as he squeezed my hand.
