Chapter 13: Free donuts?

Phil's view

We get out of the taxi. "Thanks!" Dan said waving to the taxi.

Dan shivers as he leans in closer to me and lets of my hand for my arm. Dan closes his eyes still shivering. "Do you want the jacket, Dan?" I ask. Dan opens his eyes. "N-No.." Dan mumbles. I frown. I let go of Dan and take off the jacket. "No Phil it's fine..." Dan said in a weak voice. I wrap the jacket around Dan. "It is your jacket." I said smiling. Dan stares at me with his warm beautiful dark brown eyes. Dan shakes his head. "S-Sorry I was spacing out." Dan said looking away. Dan takes off the jacket and hands it back. "I don't want it. It's yours." I said. Dan sighs rolling his eyes. "You look good in black. I will just take the extra one I brought." Dan said smiling. I can't resist saying no to that smile. I smile back. "Okay fine." I said taking off the backpack.

Dan puts on the leather jacket. "Okay. Are you ready to go see muse?" Dan asks. I scratch my head. "Yeah I guess." I said. Dan grabs my arm again. "Alright. Let's find a bathroom so I can change." Dan said as he puts his head on my shoulder. He yawns. "I think there's one in there." Dan said pointing to the cafe. Dan removes his head from my shoulder.

We start walking over to the cafe. "Here, do you want to come inside and wait for me or stay outside and wait for me?" Dan asks as he grabs the bag. "I'll wait inside." I said smiling. We walk in the cafe.

Dan lets go of my hand and walks to the back for the bathroom. I sit down at an empty table. A woman walks up to me with two donuts in one hand and her daughter's hand in the other hand. "Hey uh we have two extra donuts and we don't want them... Do you want them?" The woman asks. "Oh uh sure." I said smiling. The little girl seems about thirteen years old and is hiding behind her mom smiling at her phone. "Anything else you want to ask him, Melissa?" The mother asks. The girls eyes widen as she stares at me. "Oh y-yeah..." She looks embarrassed.

Dan's view

I walk out of the bath room and dust off my black eclipse shirt. I look up to see a girl and her mother talking with Phil.

The little girl pulls out a small sketch book with our pixel stickers from our store on the cover. She's a fan? Huh... I walk over to the table and put my arm around Phil (while he's sitting) and put my head on his. The girls eyes widen. She smiles without making any eye contact. "Can you sign some fan art I made?" She asks. "And maybe take a picture?" She asks. "Of course!" Phil said smiling.

The girl hands her mother the phone and both Phil and I put a hand on her shoulder. Come on Dan... Give her what she wants! I kiss Phil on the cheek as soon as I saw the flash. The mother's eyes widen. Idiot what if she doesn't approve us. Then Phil will start crying...

The mother hands her daughter back the phone. The daughter opens her sketch book and hands me a pencil. The sketch was of us with whiskers as Phil was hugging me and I had my eyes wide open blushing. The girls eyes widen. "I uh- wrong one..." She said as she grabs the sketch book. Phil stops her. "No its fine. I like that one." Phil said smiling. "Y-You do? But I thought-" I interrupt her. "Actually... Yeah we do... Send that to us..." I said as I sign it. I hand the pencil to Phil. Phil signs it next to mine. Phil draws a little heart next to my name and his name.
