Cold

Author's Note: Roommate issues? Yeah, a whole year of them.

Chills my bones, never known her before.

Breath in, rage out. Breath out, tears in.

Loud melancholy and a bittersweet smile.

Here comes the folly and it will stay for a while.

Ignoring me, then destroying my dignity

like I don't have integrity

no hate, just a cheapskate

no snake, still ache

Sleeping under covers

My friend's from near Dovers

Should I tell him that her words shatter me?

Guess I spilled my own 'tea'

Ice forming on open window

her face shows she ain't no bimbo

pure rage, accusing face

minor age, little to no trace

She's so mean

Bathroom she won't clean

She's a Witch and a bully

AEV still needs  a pulley

Titanium she breaks

My room she takes

No more will I stand this tension

Sleepless nights with apprehension

I don't understand

how she so cold.

Maybe I'm a hired hand

and not too bold.

No more will I cry at night

Her words I will swat away

There on the hill is a new light

It's my turn to say so she better pray.

Author's Note: I wrote this at 3 am in the morning while hiding from my roommate and sneaking off to bed without her or the others noticing. And yes, it was freaking cold.

This poem is a combination of different poem styles and rhyming structure.

It is a homage to my roommate controlling the whole room and making my life miserable.

On purpose.

I don't hate her, I dislike her behavior. Also, Dovers is the capital of Delaware, fun fact.
