Author's note: I wrote this for a competition and got to present it in front of an audience so I guess it was successful.
Books tell stories.
Whatever story may be,
the author enchants the reader with magnificent tales.
Non-Fiction, Biography, Horror, Mystery, Sci-Fi,
and Fantasy are genres of the books or stories you may see.
Non-Fiction books have many tales
to offer about several different things.
Though all books have an end and a beginning,
the characters may come alive or they may not,
For in your head, these stories are all a part of the same book.
The book is called, the Book of Life.
