I was recollecting someone else's memories. I couldn't see them clearly either. Just bits and pieces. Images. I was able to see the pentagram symbol; there was some kind of necklace with the symbol on it. Then there was the frame. The strange thing was that it was someone else's memory. The frame didn't look like how it did now, it didn't look old. It was brand new; shiny. There was a photo affixed to it, but I couldn't see it clearly.

Suddenly, my mind went totally blank and my head started to hurt, it slowing and progressively got more and more painful. I felt like someone was bashing my brains in with a hammer. The pain was unimaginable; I fell on my bed screaming in pain. My eyelids got heavier; I started to black out.

The next thing I knew I was in the hospital. However, now I felt fine. My mom rushed in as soon as I opened my eyes, "Sweetie, what happened? You were screaming on top of your lungs and when I found you on your bed, you passed out, fainted. I tried to wake you up but you were unresponsive. I was so scared" she sounded very scared.

"I don't know what happened mom" I replied and that was the truth. I had no idea what was happening to me. One minute I was seeing someone else's memories the next minute I felt like my brains were bashed in. Something was wrong; terribly wrong.

"It's okay sweetie. You're alright now", she said reassuringly. "The doctors couldn't find anything wrong with you. They said it's probably the stress. Moving into a new school can be stressful, but we are all here for you. You know you can talk to me about anything right?" She added.

"Yeah, mom", I replied. There was a small clock near my bed that read 10:36 am. "Mom, what day is it?" I asked. "Its Saturday, honey",she said. WHAT?! I've been out for two days??? I had no idea. So, I had missed school yesterday. I was late on my first day and skipped classes in my first week. I should have a very good image in school.

"Someone called Charlette called thrice yesterday. She was worried sick about you", my mom said. "She did?", I asked surprised. I never thought Charlette would call to check in on me. She is a good friend. "I am glad you've already made friends", my mom said. I smiled.

I was out of the hospital on Saturday evening and Charlette called again. This time I answered. My mom was right she was worried sick. However, she also asked if we could hang out on Sunday evening. My mom denied at first but then I convinced her that I was perfectly alright so she allowed me to go hang out with Charlette. Mom added, "Fresh air would relieve some stress too, but be careful". "Careful is my middle name, mom", I replied.

"No, Elizabeth is your middle name", my mom said. I rolled my eyes at her playfully and went back to my room.

Finally, it was Sunday afternoon and I was getting ready to go out. I chose a simple striped t-shirt and blue jeans as my outfit. Charlette told me that we could meet at her house which was right down the block.

I went there and spotted Charlette waiting for me in a pretty pink dress. She invited me into her house and we both went up to her room. Her room was a typical girly-girl room. Pink walls, pink sheets, pink stuffed toys, pink everything. I wondered why I never really liked pink. Anyway, we decided just to hang out at her house instead of going out and about. Well, it was mostly her idea. She was more than excited to show me around her room. I spotted an old yearbook from when Charlette was in elementary school and asked her if we could see it.

Charlette excitedly nodded and took it out her bookshelf. We flipped through pages of many yearbooks; I lost count of how many. Charlette was amazingly nice to me and the way she talked made me feel like I wasn't new around there. The clocked chimed eight times and it didn't know how time went by so fast. "Its eight o' clock", she exclaimed with a slight expression of fear; terror. "I think you should leave now,", she said to me, her voice was brittle. It was like she forgot something important.

"Is something wrong?" I asked. "No. I mean.. you wouldn't understand. You have to leave." She rushed me to leave. I left without saying anything else.

Suddenly Charlette became very hostile. I didn't know what caused the sudden change in her behavior. She didn't even bother to walk me down to the door.

I went outside but then I heard her arguing with someone. That 'someone' sounded like her mother. They were yelling so loudly that I could hear it from outside. I couldn't hear it clearly but it sounded something like "Did you forget about today? How could you? It's your first full moon and the moon has almost reached its apex. Do you know what you could've done to that poor girl if it had been too late?".
