Kaitlin

Today is the day that we'll be free. We will unite and stand together as one. We'll love and cherish everyone and we won't take anything for granted because it's wrong.

I have no idea what I just said so leave it.

"KAITLIN." My front door opens right in front of me. Well, this is not a nice thing to experience. I whimpered badly. "AH! I'm so so sorry!"

This is nice. I got a bandage nose. Whoop. Oh yea remember a while ago? Chandee opened the door while I was in front of it.

"I'm so sorry." She keeps on repeating. I'm staring at myself in the mirror.

"Hey Kai-- Whoa." Nick said as he walked in.

I rolled my eyes. "Hey to you too but my name is Kaitlin not Kaiwhoa." I said as I brushed my hair. Nick laughed hysterically at what I said. Yeah, he's not happy.

"What happened?" Chris asked me.

"Door happened. Chandee happened." I explained in short sentences. It's pretty hard to breathe at the moment. "Accident. Bandage. Done." I ended my speech.

"Ah, Chandee opened the door in front of you? Ouch." Chris said and I nod. "Nice look you got there." He teased and I glared at him.

"I don't want to show myself anymore." I muttered.

"Too late. We're leaving." He grabbed my bag and pulled me out of the room with me holding my nose cause it feels like it got out from a nose surgery.

"We're walking?" I said.

"Yeah until we get to the nearest Starbucks. They're going to pick us up there because they had stuff to do this morning. I just told them that they can pick us up there." He said as he slipped my bag on his back. Awe, gentleman.

"But Starbucks is far." Chandee whined. Nick whispered something to her and she blushed. "Oh shut up."

I got curious. "What did you say?" I asked Nick.

"Nothing. Not my place to say." He grinned sheepishly and I shook my head. "Seriously. It's nothing. I'm just drunk." I laughed.

"When aren't you?" I teased and he glared. "Hey, you started the joke. Who says I'm going to be the killer?" He shook his head violently and I laugh.

"You were supposed to say something different." He said. "Are you excited for this?"

"No. I'm terrified. I don't know what to say." I honestly replied. I really can't talk about this topic without my mind struggling to find the words and my tongue keeps on going into a cat's paw. It's frustrating to me but it's how my mind works these days. Clouded and tangled.

"Well, we'll see about it." Was all Chris replied.

We are all waiting right now and the nerves are getting even more tainted and jumbled. I don't know why but I brought my journal with me. I guess I'm reading one now. I opened it to a a page not caring what is it. I jus needed to read.

Eclipse

That girl saw an eclipse today and she was in awe. All her life she has never seen this natural things that no one can control. Seeing darkness overlapping that bright ball of glow was something that she can easily know.

She felt that too. Oh, she has felt that a lot from happiness to that spiraling sadness. When she saw that sudden darkness, it felt like she released every inch of darkness and sorrow that is buried in her mind and soul.

She felt alone and her only companion was this book that seems to be dripping with so much sadness and words. She missed him so much it hurts. Even those extra credits that she's doing doesn't seem to faze her feelings. "Leave me alone." She said but it never did. Everyday, darkness reels her in even more and her longing grows. Her head wonders "Does he long for me too?" because she knows that she does and she can only think that it sucks, it sucks.
