"We're going to go get breakfast, do you need anything?"Cole asked, pulling on a pale blue shirt.

"No. Just be careful, you two. Understand?"Lenny glanced my way cautiously.

"We will."Cole and I answered in unison.

"Be back in forty minutes."Lenny shooed us off with his hand, going back to his computer.

Cole and I left the room, the first time in two days. We made our way to the breakfast bar, down on the main floor. The lobby was packed with breakfast foods and people were scattered everywhere, but not entirely packed.

I piled a plate with waffles, bacon and plenty of syrup. When I was satisfied with my piled of the thick liquid at the bottom of my plate, I sat down on a couch. Everyone was starting to leave, going to work or sight seeing. I got back up to get a mug of coffee with extra creamer and sugar. I never liked orange juice. Ew.

I hungrily ate my waffles, dunking my pieces of it in syrup. Somehow I never got cavities. Lucky me.

"What all happened, when you were kidnapped?"Cole didn't look up from his plate.

I stared at him with no emotion. Was I ready to talk about it? Yeah, probably. But I didn't want to.

"Stuff."I answered with mouthful  of bacon.

No one mentioned what had happened when Cameron and I got back. Not a single word. But the topic clung to the air for dear life, leaving awkwardness in the air. Cameron handled me carefully for those two days. I really appreciated that though.

"Care to elaborate?"He prodded for information.

"I was out of it for four days. After two days, Cameron arrived the after another two days, we escaped."

"You're going to have to tell us what happened eventually. I won't tell anyone."He promised, holding out his pinky.

"You're so stubborn."I muttered. I was completely dodging the questions which would soon irritate Cole.

"What happened the two days after you came out of it?"

"I met Aaron. And some jackass named Leah."A mom sent daggers at me, holding her child close to her."Can we talk somewhere else?"

"Yeah. How about the pool area, it's empty."

"If you push me in, I swear I will murder you."I gave him my moat threatening glare before proceeding to the pool area.

We sat down in the corner, away from the entrance doors. I got comfortable then began speaking again.

"So this Leah guy, jackass with issues up in the head."I paused to think about what I would reveal next.

"What did he do to become classified as a 'jackass'?"

I held out my arm for him to see. He let out a small gasp, bruises were framing the nasty cut down my arm.

   "Anything else?"

I glanced at him then nodded my head. I felt tears dare to escape my eyes, wanting to stream down my face.

   "What else?"Cole asked.

I glanced his way again, this time a tear staining my cheek. His eyes softened considerably when he saw my weakness. He came over and hugged me, sitting down and pulling me onto him.
