I sat in the library impatiently, waiting for Devin. He was in the office because him and Cole beat the crap out of each other. Devin finally walks in, ten minutes late, with his Algebra book in his hands.

"Before we start this, may I get an explanation on lunch?"I suggest the lunch topic intensively.

"He was saying things about you and it wasn't true, so I told him to stop. He didn't so I beat him up. Its not rocket science, sweetheart."He smirks like usual.

    "OK then."I open the textbook.

"What did you do to him? One moment he is happy and comes back raging like a girl on their period."

"I don't know. You know about what happened between Rob and me."

   He nodded so I continued.

"Well Cole was sitting with me, and Rob joined. He asked me a question I didn't want answer so I left and Cole defended him. He then proceeded to call me a bitch so we kinda got into a fight."I take breath and look everywhere except at Devin.

Devin was not exactly my friend but more or less an acquaintance. We talked but never serious like now. It usually was just dumb small talk or complain about bimbos and players. I never mentioned how I despised his buddies because they were stuck up jocks. Devin was ironically stuck up too, like his friends. But I never brought that into discussion because of a disturbance in our temporary peace.

"Since when do you care about what other people think of me?"I inquire thoughtfully.

   He doesn't answer.

"Devin."I dare to take a peek, and he's staring at me.

"I wouldn't want to fail math now, would I?"He smirks again.

I roll my eyes and begin explaining the subject to him.

<11 days later>

Kevin walks into my room, only a towel around his waist.

"What the hell did you do to my shampoo?"He asked between clenched teeth.

"A little hair dye, that's all.  I'm pretty sure black will suit you very well."I laugh. His hair now was a faux jet black, matching mine. Christmas was yesterday, and I was already back at annoying my brother.

"Just you wait."Kevin promised with an evil grin.

   "I will."I smirk.

My brother walks out of my room, probably to go to his room. I hop in the shower myself and rinse my body off. Once I'm done I find a new text alert on my phone.

"Meet me at Jilly Beans at noon or else he gets hurt"

"Who gets hurt?"

"Cameron, he's practically your boyfriend, Hannah. Look pretty, I don't want to be disappointed now would I?"My heart fluttered at the word boyfriend. Whatever. It doesn't mean anything.

"Who is this?"

"Doesn't matter."

   I checked the time. 11:03

I cursed under my breath as I rush around to get ready. Dad is still sleeping in his room, it's his only day off this week. Kevin comes out of his room with dark wash jeans and newly dyed hair. I grab a wallet and get my car started.

Before I leave I pull on a leather jacket over my blush long-sleeve shirt. I have on floral jeans with combat boots. No jewelry or accessories or make-up.

I left the drive way leaving tire tracks in the snow. The snow crunches under my tires, but I block out the noise with the radio. I pull into the Midtown parking lot behind Jilly beans and walk inside to the cozy cafe. I'm about ten minutes early, so I sit down at a table with a coffee in my hand.

As I'm reading an article in Seventeen magazine when someone sits across from me. I put the magazine down and come face to face with Leah. He plays with the keys in his hands then stares at me intently. When did he even get here?

"So you've been the one texting me?"I guess and roll my eyes.

"Well, yeah. You follow orders nicely. Too bad you weren't like this back in Seattle."

"If I could kill you right now. Ugh! You just wasted my time. I'm leaving."I collect my wallet and coffee and get up to leave.

"If you leave I will make him suffer."Leah's voice turns icy cold.

"Why am I here, for eye candy!? I have a life besides being stalked every second."

"Sit your ass down or I will personally torture him, Foust."He raises his voice an octave but keeps it the same hardness. A few people stop and stare at us.

"You don't own me!"I yell back, silencing the cafe.

"I'm not kidding."He clenches his jaw.

   "Neither am I."I spat.

Leah pulls my arm down, the rest my body along with it, into my chair. He holds my hands hands down on the table and starts to speak.

"Listen closely. If you don't behave, I'm just going to have to transfer schools from Seattle to Hillsdale. But I guess I will, considering your sweet outburst. Your little boyfriend is coming home today, I wonder what he will think about what happened between you and Cole..."He trails off venomously.

   "How do you even know?"

"I know people."He smiles with a sense of smugness.

"Can you let me go now?"I hiss.

   "Answer me this."

   "What?"

"Who's your favorite, Cole or Cameron."

   "Cameron."I reply hastily.

   He nods.

Leah pulls me out of my seat and leads me out of the cafe, me struggling the whole way. He pushes me against the wall, my hands now against my chest. His lips meet mine with intense force. I moved my head sideways to get out of his reach. Instead his lips move downward to my neck.

I gather my strength and push him away, frantic to escape. My strength starts to diminish as I struggle. Leah is pulled away from me, and I open my eyes again. I didn't realize they were closed that tight until the muscles around my eyes felt suddenly tense and sore.

"Are you OK?"Cameron keeps a bit of a distance from me.

   "Yeah. You're back?"

"Why else would I be here?"He smiles."So what did I miss?"

"Oh, where do I even start? Let's just say, if you come over, leave your little twin home."

   "Who, Cole?"

"Yeah. Let's not talk about it here."

"Go home. I'll meet you there  in a few. I have that to take care of."Cameron glanced at Leah, who was getting back up from getting knocked down.

I walk away to my car, hearing rustling behind me. I don't dare look back because I know Cameron will take care of it. He always does.
