This recipe only serves 1.
ingredients
· 1 frying steak
· 1 potato (maris piper might be best)
· 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper or 1/2 a tablespoon of Madras curry paste.
· 1 Desert spoon of Natural or Vanilla yoghurt (optional)method
· Peel the potato and cut it into small 1cm cubes and put them in a small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of Olive oil to bowl, and stir the potatoes ensuring the oil covers each piece fully.
·Then add the cayenne pepper and paprika and stir the potatoes once more.
· Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a frying pan on medium heat. Add the potatoes, cooking for about 20 minutes until they brown or crisp a little on the outside.
·Add the steak and brown both sides, cooking for about 3 minutes in total. Dish up and add a dollop of natural yoghurt if you wish.
