ingredients
· 200 grams of dark chocolate.
·50 grams of plain flour.
·1 tablespoon of baking powder.
·125 grams of soft brown sugar.
·2 medium eggs.
·Few drops of vanilla essence.
·25 grams of coco powder.method
·Preheat the oven to 180°c/ fan 160°c. Line with baking parchment and grease evenly with butter a 18 cm square tin.
·Melt 50 grams of the dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water (bain marie). Once melted add the butter and melt stir frequently so it won't burn. Once melted remove from the saucepan.
·In a mixing bowl put sugar, eggs and vanilla essence. Mix to get her. Then sift the flour, coco powder and baking powder in and mix well. Once this is mixed add the melted chocolate and mix. Then break the rest of the chocolate in chunks and stir in the mixture.
Place the brownie mix in the tray evenly and put in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or when the brownie starts shrinking from the side of the tin and the center is firm.
·Once cooked take out of the oven and leave to cool in the tin. Once cool take out tin and place on a cooling rack. Then remove the paper and cut into squares.
