I knew I was dreaming because everything felt light and fresh. I was dreaming of home and of my family. My father and Mother, and my little sister too. They were watching me practice with Master Pakku, he was working on the advanced stuff with me along with all his other students in my level and higher, it was easy because it came naturally to me. I was also excited that day in the dream because of a special guess.
General Iroh would be visiting with his sister-in-law and the young prince. Though they are Fire Nation, our people knew that these three were very timid and docile and wouldn't attack unless provoked. At the moment my sister was standing with my parents and our guests as I trained, we had moved on to weapons for this lesson and I was going up against an archer with only a sword.
This archer wasn't a master at his craft but he wasn't a novice either, but his aim was slacking that day, and he misjudged the wind which carried his next shot too far over my head and it was aimed right for Zuko. Stabbing my sword into the ground, I waterbent a protective wall of water and Ice in front of Zuko which protected him from the arrow. Master Pakku had turned to scold the archer,
While everyone fussed over Zuko, making sure he was alright. When I moved the wall of ice and water the arrow dropped to the ground four feet from Zuko, he was completely fine and his mother had hugged me in thanks and was grateful for my quick reflexes. My father and mother commented on how well I was coming along while apologizing for the almost heart attack and my sister hugged me around my middle.
My dream was going so well for the most of my sleep until it shifted to the day that I refused any arranged marriage put forth by my father. My mother had argued with him saying that I should be able to choose who I wanted to be with, and that marrying for politics caused more problems then it did solve any. Yue in private had called me out for my reason for not wanting to marry any of the young Noble Ladies of the clans in the North,
She knew I was different and didn't love me any differently for it, she accepted my differences. But when my father had come to my room to talk or maybe try and change my mind he had heard the conversation and ended up storming into my room and called me all sorts of cruel things before saying I had till the end of the day to leave his kingdom and not return until I saw some sense.
My mother having heard the yelling rushed in to see what was wrong, finding out she was so shocked she couldn't even say anything. Disgusted with me, my father locked my sister in her room to keep me from her afraid I would taint her with my ideas. If there was any other way to say it he would have but I had at that point already packed a bag and was gone.

Waking suddenly and thankfully because of Momo jumping on my chest, groaning and panting I sat straight up and gasped for air. Sokka having laid back down after trying to talk about his dream realized I was struggling and got up to help me stand, leaning against Appa for a moment, "Thank you, Sokka, I'm fine now." I said finally catching my breath and calming down enough to drink some water.
I couldn't sleep after that and just ended up working on my waterbending till everyone woke up. It calmed my mind and took off a bit of my sour mood. After drying off and changing into clean clothing, I finished with the packing telling Katara and Sokka I would do it while they helped Nala up as usual. We weren't on the ground a minute later before we were off again.

The weather said there would be a storm, and a big one too. But Aang and Sokka were set on there not being one, but I could smell it. It would come in probably late in the afternoon, after a few more hours in the air we landed and the trio went shopping, I gave them some money and they got what was needed. I didn't care I usually didn't use my money and always got more by doing things people couldn't or wouldn't do.
