After bathing and changing into clean clothing, Yue came to get me for dinner, she said she wanted me to escort her to the head table, which I was perfectly happy with. When we showed up, father was announcing that it was her 16th birthday, and that she was of marrying age, standing next to her I frowned, "I thought he gave up on that?" I said and she frowned a bit, "He did, but not for me, my arrangement was set before you left," she said,
"Everyone else can marry whom they please, but because my situation was so far sealed the guy who I'm engaged to, doesn't want to back out," I glared, "That isn't right, your sixteen, you should be able to marry whomever you chose." I said and she hugged my arm, "Your right...but we just got you back, don't argue for this, I actually don't mind," she said with a smile I knew was fake but she was doing it for me and I hated that she was putting her happiness aside.
"Yue, that's not the point," I said softly but she kissed my cheek to stop me, "I hope you and that special someone get your happy ending." stepping away from me she blessed the meal and went to sit next to Sokka who had stuffed food into his mouth as per usual, I rolled my eyes and moved to sit when my father grabbed my shoulder, "I would also like the thank the spirits for returning my son, Marius, to me."
I was shocked, "Father," I started but he kept going, "My son who one day inherit my place, marriage or no marriage." My jaw dropped, Sokka choked on his food, Aang and Katara gasped and stared at me while I was still trying to process what had just happened, "I am truly sorry for my behavior the day you left, I should have accepted you for who you are no matter what." he said softer to avoid being heard,
"Now, I want you to go and perform with Paster Paku," he said I sighed in defeat and nodded, bowing respectfully, I went down the stairs and found Paku talking to one of his apprentices, he nodded and walked off, looking a little more than disappointed to be leaving, "It's good to have you back Marius," Paku said shaking my forearm, "It's good to be back," I said, "Now let's show these southerners what waterbending is." he said I nodded.
Standing a few steps behind Paku, and next to another student, flowing through the motions I remembered the routine easily, it was like swimming. When it was over, I stood next to my father as Paku told Aang that training starts at dawn, which wasn't a surprise to me as it used to be the time I'd get up every morning to train. When he left, Aang looked at my father confused, but Father was just as confused and shrugged.

Prince Marius, I didn't mean to disturb..." she said while staring at me, "It's fine I was finished anyway, what can I do for you..." I said trailing off not knowing her name,
