JIMMY'S POV
As I walked out of the Fever Pitch meeting, I just kept thinking how much I wanted to go home. I know, I was really excited about everything but I missed Val.
I miss the way she looked at me when I cracked an awful joke. I miss the way her hair falls in her face gosh... She's beautiful. I miss her touch. I miss everything about her.
We still had one meeting left, in three days... It felt like forever.
I walked to Drew's car and I slowly trotted behind her.
She turned around and threw her hands up.
"Jim! Let's go!" She stopped walking and waited for me to catch up. "What's wrong with you? Where's my Jimmy?" She hit me on my arm and I just looked down at the ground.
"I'm sorry... I just have a lot on my mind." I ran my hand through my hair.
"A penny for your thoughts..?" She let out a cute innocent giggle.
"Well, I just feel really bad... I'm the worst boyfriend ever. I miss her like crazy and when I get back, I will only be in New York for another week then I leave to start filming Taxi... I know I'm filming in New York, but I just won't really get to spend much time with her..." She unlocked her car and we got in.
"Well, didn't you say she's not here because she wanted you to focus and not be distracted?" She started the car and we slowly drove away.
"Yeah..."
"Well then it sounds to me like she understands your career and supports you. You guys were best friends, she knows what she's getting into."
Drew did have a point. Val was always super understanding.
"Yeah, you're probably right. I just feel bad because we just started dating and I just want to spend every moment I can with her..." I began to pick at a string that was hanging from my jeans.
The rest of the car ride was complete silence.
We got into her house and I just sat down onto the couch. She went straight into her room and closed the door. It was very unlike her.
I closed my eyes and tried to get my mind off of things.
Within a few minutes, I heard footsteps and something heavy fall next to me on the couch.
I look up and Drew has my bag next to me and she has a piece of paper in her hand.
"Alright Mr.Fallon, I have you on the next plane out of here so we better get going." She walked towards the front door and grabbed her car keys.
"What are you doing? I can't leave! We still have that meeting!" I got off of the couch and walked towards her.
"Jimmy, it's fine! I just called some people and they said that you're fine, now! Let's get you home to that girl of yours." She waved for me to follow her.
"Are you sure?"
She speed walked over to me, grabbed my bag off the couch and pulled me.
"Jimmy, let's go."
VALERIE'S POV
I began heating up some tea on the stove and spit out my flavorless gum. I walked over to my living room and sat down on the couch.
I was trying so hard to distract myself.
I really missed Jimmy.
I turned on the TV and watched whatever movie was on.
