JIMMY'S POV

"Yeah, sure Jimmy! What's up?" I ran my hands through my hair and tried to gather all of my thoughts together.

"Listen, Umm... Gosh I don't know how to ask you this..."

"Is everything alright?"

"No, yeah. Everything is fine... I just wanted to ask you something..."

"Well, shoot!"

"Okay, gosh. I just.. wanted to ask you what you thought about me... asking Nancy to umm... Marry me."

He was silent on the other line and I impatiently waited for him to say something, anything.

"Hmm. You know what, Jimmy? Do it." My eyes widened and I let out a relieved sigh. "Yeah.. Do it. I think you're a great guy and just the fact that you asked me first, means a lot. You make my sister happy as hell.. So, You have my blessing."

"Aw, man. Really?" I was so excited.

"Of course."

"Yes! Man, this is great... I have to plan where I do it and everything... Oh my gosh and I have to get a ring..."

"Haha yeah that's usually how you propose to someone..." He laughed at me and I shook my head.

"Hey, I'm nervous!"

"No, I understand, man. You know where you should do it? You should take her to our house in Wolfeboro! Its this beautiful house were my mom lived and now we always have family reunions there and such... It's really beautiful. It's on a lake and I know she loves it there."

"Wow that sounds perfect... Can you send me the address?"

"Sure."

"Alright, Thanks so much, man. It really means a lot to me that you approve of a dork like me..."

"How could I not? And hey, I know that our mom would have loved you too."

"Thank you... Alright I gotta go and start planning this thing. I'll talk to you soon!"

I hung up the phone and looked down to the busy streets.

I was really going to do this... All I had to do was plan everything.

VALERIE'S POV

Gio and I just got back from our honeymoon and it was so beautiful. We went to Playa del Carmen and the beach was so breathtaking. We stayed in a house that was right on the beach and it was just so amazing and so relaxing. If there was one thing that I forgot about Gio, it's that he always gives the best massages.

We spend three weeks in paradise and now I'm back in the city. I decided to go ahead and move in with Gio in Fulton. I got a great job working for a news anchor and things are slowly falling into place.

I had called Tina and I told her about everything I decided. She wanted me to come back and have one last lunch with her before I went back upstate with Gio.

"So how was the honeymoon?" She took a bite of the pizza and I swallowed my iced tea.

"It was so perfect..." I smiled and blushed. "He is really great."

"That's good, I'm really happy for you, you know? You deserve all this happiness... Especially after Ji-" She stopped talking and looked up at me. "Sorry..."

"Sorry about what? I don't have any feelings for umm.. Jimmy." Gosh, it felt weird saying his name again, I hadn't said it in a while. "It's fine. You don't have to avoid talking about him because I know that he is your friend. I'm fine! Actually, I'm more than fine. I'm in a really great place right now and I feel like nothing and no one can bring me down." I smiled at my positive speech I just gave and she still had a worried look on her face. "Tina, is something wrong?"
