VALERIE'S POV

It's been about two weeks since I quit my job and it has been really hard finding a job since then... I have been to every TV show, theatre, and every single makeup store that I could find. None of them are hiring or even interested. Back when I first quit, Gio told me to call Tina.

I haven't talked to her in such a long time. When I left, she told me that if I ever needed anything, just call her. Maybe I should...

I left our house around noon and walked over to the coffee shop that was in the shopping center that was right by our neighborhood.

I got there and sat down in a booth near the back. I pulled out my phone and found her number.

It rang a few times until I finally heard her cheerful voice.

"VALERIE!!!!" I immediately smiled.

"Tina!!! How are you?" I could hear some talking in the background.

"Val... I am amazing. How have you been? I haven't talked to you in forever! I missed you..."

"I missed you too... I am great! Hey, do you have a sec to talk?"

"Yeah... just... Hold on, ok?... Alice?" I could hear her talking in the background and then it got quiet. "Okay, I'm here. What's up girl?"

I leaned back in the booth and crossed my legs.

"I need some help. So, as you already know, Gio and I live in Fulton and I had a job at a news station... Things didn't work out and I have been looking for a job and so far, nothing. I have had no luck... Anyways.. Gio basically told me that he would be willing to move back to the city if I got a job offer that I really wanted."

"Oh that's great!! Are you moving back here?"

"Well, that's what I don't really know... I was wondering if you could put in a good word for me somewhere. I really miss doing SNL type makeup and it would mean a lot to me if you could just spread the word... You know."

"Hmm... Okay. How about this, let me call you back in a few minutes, Okay?"

"Umm.. Okay! Thanks Tina."

"Of course." She hung up the phone and I got up and ordered a coffee. Every time I thought about when I worked at SNL, I couldn't help but think about all the fun times I used to have.

"Alright everyone!!!" Justin raised his glass and stood on a chair. It was dark on the roof of 30 Rock but gosh the lighting was beautiful. I looked up to the sky and smiled. "I just want to thank everyone... The cast, Lorne... Everyone... I always love hosting and it means a lot to me that you guys are just all so nice and caring. I had so much fun working with all of you this week... I'm not going to get all mushy like this guy would right here..." He pointed his glass at Jimmy, who was standing next to me. We all laughed and Horatio jumped up and surprised everyone.

"LETS FUCK SHIT UPPPP!!!!" Horatio screamed, grabbed Justin's arm and pulled him down from the chair. The music got louder and everyone began to talk and dance. It was only my third SNL party and the last one, I really got messed up. I woke up in one of the writer's apartments and it was scary... Not to mention that I felt like shit the next two days that followed.

I felt Jimmy grab my arm and pull me over to the middle of the dance floor.

"Noooo!!!!" I tried to pull away from his firm grip and he yanked my arm. I spilt my drink onto the floor and onto my heels. "Wow! Thanks..." I tried to yell over the music.

"I'm sorry... Come here.." He pulled me into his chest and wrapped his arms around me. I could tell he was drunk by the way he leaned into me. He was really tall and skinny at the time... His hair was spiked up and his eyes sparkled down at me. He danced around me and I tried to grab his drink out of his hand so that he wouldn't spill it. He smiled down at me and I took a swig of whatever was in his cup. I choked as it burned in the back of my throat... Whatever it was, was straight liquor. He laughed at me and I rolled my eyes. We danced for a little while and the music began to give me a headache. Just then, I saw Tina run up from behind Jimmy and she pulled me close to her.
