JIMMY'S POV

Tina went silent. I bit on my lip and waited for her to respond.

"Jimmy... You can't."

"Why not?" I stood up and walked around to the other side of my desk.

"You can't just swoop into her life with your charming self right now... She's married. Jimmy, She is happy." I could feel myself getting upset. I took a deep breath in and tried to calm down.

"Tina... I don't think you understand... The second I saw her with you... Everything just clicked. I know that I have been in a bad place recently and... and that I screwed up... but god, I want her back. I need her back." I sat down on my couch and crossed my legs.

"I know that right now, you're vulnerable and you're lonely but you cant just go up to her and..."

"No! It's not because I'm vulnerable and its not because I'm lonely! It's because I need her in my life. I screwed us up, hell... We both screwed us up. But that doesn't mean we can't try again!" I could feel my neck getting hot with frustration.

"Jimmy, you just cant!"

"Okay, damn it! I know that she's married and all... But give me another good reason why I can't! I just don't get it! Why cant I just-"

"OK Jimmy! You want to know the real reason why??" Her voice was so loud it shocked me. "Because I know for a fact that if you told her you felt that way, that she would fall right back for you!" I suddenly got millions of butterflies in my stomach and a small smile slowly spread across my face.

"W-What?"

"Yes, Jimmy. You heard me. You will always mean something to her. You want to know something? Right after we saw you, she acted completely different. It was like she was in a daydream for the rest of the day. She was thinking about you. I have spent so much time with her, so I know exactly how she thinks. You could get her back, with just three little words, but you can't just go and do that. You have to realize that she is happy right now with Gio. You can't be selfish right now, okay?"

I had no clue how to respond. God, I just wanted to see her.

"Well... Can you at least tell me where she is staying?"

"No.... Jimmy..." I could tell she hesitated.

"Why not? I will eventually find out one way or another! I will search this whole damn city until I find her. God, I just want to talk to her. I just need to stand in front of her and tell her tha-"

"The Trump SoHo.." I let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you so much... You have no idea."

"But you listen to me, Jimmy. If you do anything even remotely detrimental to her marriage... I swear... Just don't. It wont be good."

I hung up the phone without another word and headed down the hallway to put on my suit and get my makeup done for todays taping. I decided that I would go over to her hotel after the show.

A few hours later, I had my driver drive me down to Spring and Varick. As soon as we turned on to Spring, I saw the large hotel in the skyline. We pulled up and I opened my door before the doorman could.

"You don't have to wait for me... I will call you when I need you!" I yelled to the driver, jumped out and ran into the building. I wasn't really sure why I was running, I just felt like seeing her was urgent. I ran through the bronze colored lobby and finally got to the front desk. The woman standing there in a nice uniform looked up to me and her eyes widened.

"Hi sir! How may I help you today?" She smoothed out her shirt and I tried to catch my breath.

"Hi... I need to know which room my friend is in. Her name is Valerie Stokes...I think..." I knew she got married but I couldn't remember Gio's last name.
