The Lost Girl (dumping ground)

New Things

I'd been at the dumping ground, for a month now, school, was back in 2 weeks as well and I still didn't have any of my stuff. Me and Jody were going in to Tylers room as Mike was walking up the stairs. He followed us into Tylers room.
"Do you have anything for school?" He asked me.
"Nope, absolutely nothing."
He handed me over £30 and gave Tyler and Jody £10 each.
"She's got more than us. Put together." Tyler said
"Yes, you've already got your bags."Mike replied.
"Fair point."
"I'll drop you off in town later."
"Okay." Jody replied.
Mike walked out of the room and went back downstairs. I think everyone had realised now that it wasn't a duo anymore it was a trio. Me, Jody and Tyler did everything together.
It was still quite early in the morning, so me and Jody left Tyler to get dressed. I wanted to sort out my eyebrows I was beginning to get a uni brow. I went into the bathroom to try and shave the middle of it. I had just started to do it when I heard the door creak open it was Floss.
"Get out." I told her.
"What are you doing?" She questioned.
"Floss, get out!"
She ran up behind me and pushed me before running out. I looked into the mirror, I'd shaved half of my eyebrow off!
I ran into Jodys room, "I need help."
She looked at me confused, so I moved my hand away from my eyebrow. She fell off the bed laughing.
"It's not funny!" I said even though I was nearly laughing myself now.
"I'll go get Charlie."
After about 5 minutes Jody came back up, I was sitting on Jodys bad waiting.
"She's gone to get an eyebrow pencil." Jody told me, "how did you even manage to do that?"
"It was going well until Floss came in and pushed me."
"I've got it." Charlie said as she came in, Alex was behind her laughing . "Come here."
I walked over to her and sat in front of her, she pushed my head sideways, she started colouring it in.
"Are you ready?" Mike shouted upstairs.
"5 minutes."Jody replied.
Alex was still laughing. She pushed my head the other way.
"Owww!" I screamed.
"Shut up."Charlie said.
Tyler walked in at this point.
"What's wrong her."Tyler asked Jody.
"Charlie's trying to sort out her eyebrow, she's saved part of it off."Jody replied," then Charlie pushed her head down to sort it out."
"Anyway, Ashtons meeting us in town." Tyler told us.
"Who?" I questioned.
"Done." Charlie said
I stood up and looked in the mirror my eyebrows were darker but they were the same length so I didn't moan.
"Thank you Charlie."
She smiled at me before walking out to the room with Alex.
"Who's Ashton?"I asked.
"My friend from school."
I didn't know any of Jody or Tylers friends.
"We need to go." Jody said.
As we got downstairs, Mike was about to shout up again.
"Are you ready?"
"Yea."
We sat in the car, me and Jody in the back and Tyler in the front with Mike.
"Ashtons meeting us at McDonald's." Tyler told Mike.
"I'll drop you off there then."
"Thank you."
After about 5 minutes we were outside McDonald’s. Me and Jody split up from Tyler and Ashton, we went to sports direct to get me a new bag and for Jody to get a gumshield and they went to the apple store to get Ashton a new phone charger.
"Do you really need a new gumshield, whats wrong with your old one?" I asked.
"I've gone off the colour." Jody replied, "anyway, what do you think of Ashton?"
"I'd give him a solid 7 but  I'd give Tyler a solid 8."
She stopped and looked at me.
"Oh my God, you fancy Tyler."
I started blushing. I'd liked Tyler since we first met, but when we moved I guess we forgot about each other.
"No, I don't." I hesitated before saying it so it made look very obvious. She smirked at me
We got to sports directs, that was the only place that really sold bags and gumshields. I'd picked my bag in like the first 5 minutes, it was a pink Nike one. It took a lot longer when it came to picking a gumshield, we must have stood in front of them for like 15 minutes.
"Just pick one." I moaned.
"I'm thinking."
"It's a gumshield, not a designer bag."
"This one."
"Finally."
"Its £12 tho."
"I will give you £2, if it gets me out of this shop."
"Thank you" Jody sweetly replied.
After we payed, we went to meet Tyler and Ashton. Jody kept looking at me and making faces everytime I looked at Tyler. I started getting bored and zoning out. It was the first time I wasn't actually able to zone back in when people started talking to me. I heard Jody mumble something, Tyler and Ashton replied to her, but all I could hear was mumbling. Jody clicked her fingers in front of me to get my attention.
"What?" I said as if I has just woken up.
They started laughing.
"I'm going now anyway."Ashton told us as his mother's car pulled up next to us.
"Bye!" We all simultaneously said.
"I still need a pencil case."
"We'll go and get one then."Tyler said.
We went into WHSmiths, I only really needed a pencil case, that's all I had enough for anyway considering I'd given Jody some of my money. Even though it only was £2 my pencil case was £7,so I didn't have enough to get pens.
"I'm borrowing, your pens then considering I gave you money."I told Jody.
"Fair enough." She replied.
When May-li came to pick us up all Jody did was nudge me everytime Tyler spoke.
"I don't like him." I whispered to Jody while May-li was talking to him.
"Yeah, you do." She said winking at me.
"Jess." May-li started talking to me.
"What?" I replied.
"You didn't make your bed this morning."
"Yeah, I know I forgot."
"Its funny mind, it's the 5th time you've forgotten this week."
Jody and Tyler started sniggering.
I sarcastically said, "Technically, it hasn't been a week it's Sunday."
"Really."
"I'm right though." I argued back.
"Yea, but you know what I mean."
"But I'm right!"
"You are right and I'll rephrase it next time shall?"
"Yes please."
Jody and Tyler started laughing.
"You're pushing it today."
I went quiet, I didn't fancy getting in trouble today, I was in enough trouble when me, Jody and Tyler booby trapped the living room with paint. Let's just saying we were grounded for about 2 weeks and it took a lot of cleaning to get it all off the floor. It was only the first 2 weeks since I'd been there, so that didn't really help because apparently I was leading Jody and Tyler astray even though it was Tylers idea. I kept a low profile, until today I kept forgetting to do stupid things like making my bed and doing my chores, because I did my chores with Jody and Tyler they would come and find me they weren't going to do it without me or even make up an excuse on why I hadn't done it. As soon as we got in, I went upstairs and made my bed, it was easier than winding Mike and May-li up, I couldn't really be bothered to get into anymore trouble.
