"Where should we start then?" I asked when we were sure no teachers were running after us.
"The gym?" He suggested.
"Alright then, but if May-li's car is there, we can't go in."
"She's pregnant she wouldn't be in the gym, you idiot."
"Oh yeah."
We ran all the way to the gym, because we'd promised Poppy and Ashton that we'd be back in time for 3rd, but the way it was going, I highly doubted it.
"Ty, do you have your phone?" I asked.
"Yeah."
He pulled it out of his pocket and handed it too me.
"5 miss calls from Mike. We're dead!" I exclaimed.
"Well she's not here, where else would she be? And don't stress. "
For the first time, it wasn't me who wanted to get into trouble.
"Park!" I said running yet again.
His phone screen lit up.
Ashton was ringing this time. So I decided to answer it.
"Where the hell are you, break is about to finish."
"Yeah, you'll have to cover for us. Bye!" I said hanging up.
His phone didn't stop ringing, except it wasn't only Mike now, May-li and Tracy were both on our case.
When we finally got to the park we saw Jody sitting on one of the swings. We both ran over to her.
"Jodes," Tyler said softly, "come here."
I didn't expect her to go over to him, but she did. Tyler wrapped his arms around her. It was actually really cute.
"What happened." he said crouching down.
"I went to Brandon's after the entire argument. He was with someone else, and then he um kicked me out."
"He did what?!?" I basically yelled.
"Why didn't you just come home?" Tyler replied giving me and glare.
She shrugged her shoulders and started crying. It was obvious Tyler wasn't going to leave go of her and I didn't particularly want to interrupt anything, so I started swinging on the swing, because I'm litterally a 4 year old.
"You two are going to be in so much trouble, when you go home." Jody stated after Tyler had managed to cheer her up.
"That trouble is gonna be coming a lot sooner."
"What do you mean?" Tyler asked.
"Turn around."
Mike was walking through the gate and he didn't look impressed.
"Here we go." I said, "friends though Jodes."
"Friends, sorry about yesterday." She replied helping me down.
"Don't worry about it."
The 3 of us just stood still and waited for Mike to come over to us.
"Jess, Tyler go wait by the car." Mike commanded when he got to us.
"but..."
"Now!" he snapped.
"Fine." I spat.
That was a big mistake. He gave me a glare, so I decided to back down, and just walk to the car with Tyler.
"We're going to be grounded for weeks." Tyler complained.
"Oh well. I can take the blame and say it was my idea, and earlier on you didn't care how much trouble we'd be in"
"Even though it was your idea, he'll just say well you didn't have to go along with it. So at least if we're grounded we'll be grounded together and I didn't think we'd actually get caught."
"Fair enough."
Mike walked back to the car with Jody, you could tell she'd been crying again, because her eyes were red. She sat in the front while me and Tyler sat in the back.
"I want both of you in my office, straight after school, so May-li and I can discuss a suitable punishment." Mike said sternly breaking the silence.
"Yes, Mike." we both replied.
The car journey back to school was extremely awkward. When we finally arrived after what felt like hours even though it was probably only 5 minutes, Mike signed us back in and started talking to the receptionist, but he didn't look impressed. He didn't say anything to us when he left, he just shook his head.
"Go to 4th lesson, you only are 5 minutes late." The receptionist instructed.
Me and Tyler walked in silence down the halls until we reached out science class. We walked in and the class was silent. Great!
"Where have you two been?" Our teacher asked.
"I had um physio." I replied.
"I had the um dentist." Tyler said.
We walked over to our seats, I sat in between Poppy and Ashton while Tyler sat next to Ashton. Originally I was in between Jody and Tyler, but me and Poppy got really close again and me and Ashton started going out so we switched seats. It actually wasn't a bad lesson because all we did was watch a science film, which meant going on my phone under the table and trying not to get caught.
"Liam text you earlier." Poppy whispered.
I went through my messages and clicked on Liam 💜.
L- The new singles dropping Friday! ❤️
L- Mike just rang Jack where are you!
L- You can't just leave school!
L- Where are you?!?
L- Answer me!!
L- Stop making the same mistakes as I did, just go back to school yeah.
L- Mike rang, I know you meant well but you can't just leave and you know that.
L- Text me, when you can, I don't want you making the same mistakes as I did, and getting arrested every other day. ❤️
I felt bad after reading the last text, it made me regret leaving. I couldn't leave him on read so I ended up replying.
J- Sorry. It was stupid, I couldn't stand seeing Tyler without her, he just wasn't himself. 💜
He replied almost straight away.
L- It's fine, you meant well but you still shouldn't have gone.
J- I know, it was a stupid mistake, but I'm still a kid 😂❤️.
L- You seriously, need to stop using that excuse and good luck when you go home later, when Mike was on the phone earlier he sounded really angry at you and Tyler, so you two are in for it.
I felt someone tap me on my shoulder which snapped me out of my thoughts. My teacher was standing behind me with her hand out. Great! I was getting my phone confiscated and getting sent to my head of year because I refused to give it in. I was just praying that I wouldn't get suspended , that would be the last thing I need. When my head of year finally stopped shouting at me, she made me sit at the back of her class, in between Ryan and Alex. Today seriously couldn't get any worse.
"What have you done this time?" Alex asked.
"Nothing."
"Well that's a lie, you wouldn't be here otherwise." Ryan stated
"Fine. Me and Tyler left earlier to find Jody, we found her, then Mike found us brought us back here and then I got kicked out of my science class and now I'm here." I said explaining everything.
"You are going to be in so much trouble later."
"When aren't I in trouble."
"Fair enough."
The bell finally went for lunch, I tried to get out without getting caught but that was impossible.
"Wait here."
I rolled my eyes and sat up on the table.
"We've rang your care worker, he'll be picking you up now, so I suggest you get your bag from your last class and then go and wait in reception."
"Yes miss." I said before walking out.
I was going to be in so much trouble!
