All eyes looked at me curiously and I just sat there speechless.
"How do you know that?" My voice cracked as I asked
"I read your file, I know that your parents used to leave you all the time and that they use to ..."
"Mya inside" Tracy said.
"Why? Don't you think they should know?"
I couldn't say nothing else I just ran inside. I could hear Jody and Tyler calling after me and following me in.
"What's happening now?" I faintly heard Mike ask.
"Mya's read Jess' file and has told everyone about her past, and now it's all kicking off." Jody replied.
I wasn't going to stop and listen to what else was being said, I just ran, I wasn't going to go to my room because I couldn't look the door, so I ran to the attic and locked the door before Jody and Tyler could come in.
I sat on the sofa by the window, calming down a bit, I could hear everybody shouting from outside, and Jody and Tyler calling me.
"Leave me alone!"
"Just leave us in."
"Is it just you two?" I asked.
"Yeah, please Jess." Tyler replied.
"Fine." I reluctantly got up and unlocked the door, "you aren't mad that I didn't tell you are you?"
"Why would we, I mean it's not something you announce to the world is it."
"Yeah, Ty, that probably isn't helping right now." Jody said
I couldn't help but smirk even though I really wasn't happy.
"Yeah I know but at least she smirked."
"Do you want to know what actually happened?" I asked.
"Yeah, but you don't have to if you don't want too." Jody replied.
"I might aswell tell you, but if anybody asks, say I wouldn't tell you."
"Okay."
"I'll start from the beginning then I guess."I said," basically after Burnywood caught on fire and we all got moved, I got moved quite a bit after. It was this one place, I was the only 11 year old there, so I became friendly with the older kids, they would look out for me, but only if I helped them."
"Help them with what?" Tyler interrupted.
"They used to go out in the middle of the night and nick things from people's houses, and well I'm small and slight, so I could slip through the windows and then unlock the back door to leave them in," I paused, "one night I got caught, everyone else had run and left me, the police got called and then I got dropped off at that kids home. The care workers there, thought I was going to get too much for them to cope with. So I got put into secure, but not like the secure Sasha was gonna go too, it was more of a school really, but it was still kinda classed as secure, it was just a lot more like this place, except you had to stand your ground, and there was a lot more boundaries." I blabbered.
"But none of that was really your fault." Jody said.
"I know, but it's all happened now, and I can't change the past, I mean who knows it may have been for the best."
"We're gonna watch a film now, you coming?" Sasha asked.
"Yeah,we'll come down now." Jody said
"Okay, and Mike's told Mya she has to stay up here, so she's out of the way, and I think he's putting up a bed in the quiet room for you."
"OK."
After that she turned around and walked out.
"You don't mind coming down do you?" Jody asked.
"No, it's fine."
"Come on then." Tyler said grabbing my hand and pulling me up.
I was kind of dreading going down, because I didn't particularly want anyone to mention what had happen, I would've much preferred to sit in Jody or Tylers room watching films on Netflix instead, but I'd have to go down sooner or later.
...................................
*2 hours later*
The film had only just finished, when Mike pulled me in to the office. I sat down on the sofa and he sat next to me.
"You alright?" He asked.
"Yeah, I just didn't expect anyone to find out that way."
"No one wants anything to happen the way it did, she'll be out of here tomorow."
"So I get my own room again."
"We've got another new girl arriving tomorrow, she's 6, if none of this had happened you would have been sharing with Sasha, so it's kinda worked out better for you, even though it doesn't feel like that."
"Okay and sorry about recently, I've been stressed about Jack and Liam, stuff got to much for me and I started acting out."
"Talk to us next time yeah."
"Yeah."
"One more thing before they drag you back to watch another film, I've put up a bed for you in the quiet room, you can sleep in there or upstairs it's up to you."
"Thankyou." I said before getting up and leave.
I went back into the living too and layed on Tylers chest again. He was sitting in the middle of me and Jody, with his arm around both of us, (I was pretty sure, his arm was wrapped around Jody tighter, but hey, it doesn't matter.)
"You sleep in my room tonight, I'll stay down here." Tyler whispered
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Positive, you probably need sleep, I don't, I could run a marathon right now."
I laughed, a little but too loud.
"Shh."Everyone said.
Jody and Tyler both looked at me and shook their heads.
"Yeah Jess, shut it."
I pulled a face at them and slapped them both across the head.
"Aslong as you're sure Ty."
"Look for the last time I'm positive."
"Okay, Thankyou."
I sat up when the end credits began to roll in, I looked over at Jody. Her and Tylers heads were both resting against eachother. Some days they're genuinely adorable but other days they are just plain off soppy, there wasn't an in between with them. Today was the day they definitely looked adorable.
