"Jess." Tyler whispered shaking me.
"Jess." Jody said a little bit louder.
My eyes started to open.
"What!" I snapped.
"You fell asleep, and now you've gotten yourself a detention."
"I'm not going." I said
"You don't have a choice, they've already threatened to ring Mike and May-li on you because of your behaviour recently," Jody replied, "how are you so tired?"
"I didn't sleep much last night and I never took my tablets this morning or last night that's probably why." I replied.
"How can you fall asleep because you didn't take tablets?" Tyler asked when we started doing our work.
"I'm meant to be coming off them slowly, like last time I stopped, my legs went weak, but I'll be fine now." I replied.
"You never fell asleep last time." Jody replied.
"I'm on different tablets now aren't I."
My eyes started closing again.
"You need to go home."
"I'm fine!" I snapped again.
I carried on doing my work and didn't say anything to anyone when I felt sick and when I thought I was going to faint.
"You've gone white."Ashton said.
"Look I'm fine just leave me alone."
"You don't look fine."
"What's the deal with you telling me how I feel. I'm fine."
When I finally managed to convince them that I was fine, I stood up and started swaying. Jody and Tyler both grabbed an arm to keep me up.
"You're going home." Jody said.
It was pointless to argue with them, because Poppy had already told my teacher, that I was going to faint, so I got sent down to my head of year, just to be told that I was getting sent home.
When Mike finally picked me up, I sat in the front of the car and opened the window.
"Do you feel sick?" Mike asked.
I nodded.
"Well when you go in now take the tablets, leave your phone downstairs and go to bed."
"Why do I have to leave my phone downstairs?" I questioned automatically.
"If you leave your phone downstairs you'll actually fall asleep." He replied, "I'll put it in the office and I promise you, you'll have it when you wake up."
"Fine."
I didn't even argue about it, when I took the tablets, I gave Mike my phone and went straight to bed. As soon as I closed my eyes, I fell asleep. I started to wake up again when everyone was coming home from school. I only actually got out of bed because I was hungry. I walked downstairs Jody and Tyler were arguing while making a sandwich.
"Make me one." I said when I walked in.
"Okay." Jody replied, "We rang you at break."
"My phones in the office, Mike thought I'd sleep if I left it down here." I said, "I don't even know if I want it back, I feel like I'm going to faint."
I felt my body giving way, I grabbed on to the counter so I didn't completely fall.
"You alright?" Tyler asked.
"I'm fine."
They both nervously glanced at eachother.
"I'm going back to bed, I'll probably just need to lie down, if Mike asks I've got a headache and I don't want food tonight."
"Okay."
When I got upstairs, I put my red and white cosy pyjamas on. I'd been upstairs for about 20 minutes and I was nearly asleep, when I heard a faint knock on the door before it creeked open. It was Jody and Tyler.
"Are you coming down we're having a movie night?," Jody asked sitting down on my bed.
"I'm gonna be sick." I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom, Jody and Tyler followed me into the bathroom and locked the door.
Once I stopped throwing up, I slid the wall and buried my head in between my legs. Tyler sat down next to me.
"What's wrong." he said putting his arm around me.
"I don't want stuff to go wrong with Jack and Liam, everytime something good happenes to me I always ruin it." I replied through tears.
"Stuff won't go wrong, it's different this time, it's not a foster family anymore, it's actually family, now can we please get up off the floor and go downstairs to watch the film." Tyler said.
I nodded . He pulled me up. Jody just sat on the bath and didn't say anything to either of us. Before going downstairs, I brushed my teeth for a good 5 minutes so my breath didn't smell anymore. Jody and Tyler went downstairs before me because I needed to change my pyjamas. After looking through my wardrobe, I put on a leopard print onesie with pink ears on top. I walked downstairs trying not to trip over any of the toys or lego laying around. Jody and Tyler saved a space in between them for me to sit, well I say they saved a space for me, it may have just been because they, weren't on good terms . I put my feet on Jody and put my head on Tylers stomach. I nearly fell asleep as soon as the film started. The only think that was keeping me awake, was Candi-rose screaming the lyrics too all 'The Greatest Showman' songs. I grabbed a pillow from behind Tyler and chucked at her. She shut up after that. I was nearly asleep when a pain shot up my side. I winced. I think Tyler could tell that something was wrong because he pulled my hood down and started to play with my hair. He stopped doing that after a while and put his arm around me.
"Don't they look cute." Candi-rose whispered to Chloe.
I glared at them before glancing over to Jody, she saw me looking at her, stood up and walked upstairs. I looked up at Tyler he looked down at me and shrugged his shoulders. We watched another 2 films before deciding to go to bed. Tyler went upstairs before me, because Mike wanted to ask how I felt now and too tell me that I wasn't going to school tomorrow.
I walked past Jody's room as usual, but this time instead of hearing silence I heard yelling. I waited outside her room for a while so I could here who she was shouting at.
"You can't say nothing, you cheated on me with Brandon!" Tyler yelled, "Me and Jess are just mates I don't know why you're being so thing about her laying against me, it's not like we go out anymore and she goes out with Ashton anyway!"
Mike and May-li were a tiny bit glad when Jody and Tyler broke up because them two going out broke one of the strictest rules in this place. The rule was about people who lived in the same house, going out with eachother. It's not even as if they had never broken a rule before. The 3 of us are breaking the rules constantly.
"Just get out!" Jody yelled.
I knew that was my cue to leave. As soon as I walked into my room and my head hit the pillow I was asleep.
I woke up struggling to breathe after a nightmare.
I put my Minnie Mouse slippers on and crept in to Tylers room trying not to make a sound.
"Ty." I whispered moving towards the bed. "Ty."
Obviously noticing my tear-stained face, he sat up and asked , "Nightmare?"
I nodded my head.
"Come on then." he said moving over.
I kicked my slippers off and climbed into bed next to him. I fell asleep almost automatically again but this time Tylers arm was round me and as usual I felt safe with him.
