*2 DAYS LATER*

Me and Tyler were both sitting in the office, I was doing maths and he was doing science.
"I rang the school." Mike said out of no where.
"And what did they say." I eagerly replied, I was so bored being suspended.
"They can't take you back yet, however they've referred you to a pupil referral unit."
"What's that?" I questioned
"Same as a mainstream school except, less pupils and more staff."
"So when am I there?"
"Tomorrow."
"Oh right, okay."
I was kinda dreading going there, I didn't always fit in at new places, but hey, it can't be that bad.
I was slowly beginning to loose my patience with the maths, but I was trying to keep calm, until Mike left the office. When he finally left, I threw my pen across the room and then I hit the wall making Tyler jump. I held onto my hand after hitting it.
"You alright?" Tyler asked.
"I-im fine."
Mike obviously heard me smash my hand against the wall because he came in pretty quickly.
"What was that noise?"
Tyler looked at my hand.
"You punched the wall, didn't you?"
I

slowly began to nod, " I lost my patience."
"Tyler go get some ice."
"Look I'm fine, I can clench my hand." I said. When I tried to clench it, I winced, which really didn't help my point.
"Let me see it."
I sighed and showed him my hand.
"I think we need to go to the hospital..."
I cut him off before he could say any thing else, " I'm not going to the hospital, we'll put ice on it, it'll be fine."
"Jess, we'll just get it checked." Mike said.
"Fine!" I kicked back the chair, ran upstairs, put on a hoodie and walked back down, calmer than I was before.
"Calmed down now?" Mike asked while getting the car keys.
I glared at him and walked out with Tyler.
"You're going to the gym next time, Jody goes."
"No I'm not!"
"Yes, you are, burn off some of that attitude and temper."
"Don't bite my head off, but maybe it's a good idea, it worked for Jody." Tyler said.
"I'm not going boxing!"
"I'm not saying go boxing, there's a normal gym there as well. It'll also get you back running, so when I take Jody next, I'm signing the forms for you to go, end of."
I slouched down in the chair knowing I wasn't winning this. The rest of the car journey was silent. I don't think anyone wanted to say anything to me incase I bit their heads of. After what felt like 6 hours we finally got to the hospital. I slouched down in the waiting room, I really didn't want to be there.
"You done having your temper tantrum." Mike sarcastically said.
I didn't reply I just glared, which shut him down.
I wasn't even having a tantrum, I was just annoyed.
After about 20 minutes we got called into one of the rooms. The nurse in their was the same nurse I had when I broke basically every bone in my body.
"What have you done this time?" She asked.
I didn't even have time to answer before Mike chirped in, "she punched a wall in her temper."
I rolled my eyes.
"Why aren't you in school uniform, schools aren't closed today are they?"
"I got kicked out and being put into a referral unit." I mumbled.
She sighed, "I'm not even going to ask, let's just look at this hand."
It was alot more swollen than it was earlier, and it hurt a lot more.
"Tell me when it hurts, yeah." She started touching my hand.
"Yeah it hurts."
"You can go down for an x-ray then."
"okay." I replied.
*2 HOURS LATER*
"Wait, so what did you do?" Jody asked.
"I broke my hand, cause I punched the wall."
"Also what's this with that unit thing?" Poppy questioned, since we'd got back from the hospital Poppy and Ashton had come round."
"It's basically the school I'm gonna be at for a while, it's same as normal school just with more staff and less pupils."
"and how long are you there for idiot."
"A week I think and then there will be an assessment to see if I'm ready to go back into mainstream."
Poppy rolled her eyes and slapped me across the head.
"Also Jodes, you've got me for company next time you go to the gym." I said.
"Wait what?" She questioned.
"Mike's making me got to the gym but like the normal gym, so I can burn off my temper and attitude."
"Oh okay then, " She smiled, "Im going on a boxing weekend soon anyway, so you won't have me for ages."
"Why didn't you tell me this Jodes?" Tyler asked.
"It's not a big deal, it's only for a weekend."
Tyler sighed and walked out of the room.
"I'll go." Ashton said, walking out of the room.
"I just can't win can I?" Jody said sighing.
"Just don't tell him Brandon's going, it'll just make it worse." Poppy said.
"Oh yeah, that wouldn't be a good idea." She replied.
