Y/N POV

"Stay away from me and my brother, your dead to me for this."

"Awwww! Look, the Dumb-krum siblings are hugging cause he's the only friend she has!"

"Y/N? Can you hear me? It's Laurence."

"I hate this, can't we be friends?"

"Welcome to the Shadow Knights, Laurence."

I gasp and open my eyes.
What kind of nightmare was that?
I look at my phone and see it's 2am, great.
I walk to my window and see my dad's car still in the driveway, it's been 3 days and he still hasn't left again. He hasn't done this in a while, which is making Travis even more scared.

I hear a knock at my bedroom door and sigh, moving to open it, but then I here a familiar sobbing. Speak of the fucking devil!
"Lilly, I'm so so sorry." My dad says. This is what Vodka does to the horribly broken, it makes them think old thoughts, even if it has been years.
"Lilly, open the door." He wines, knocking again.

I move to the door and clear my throat softly like she used to do.
"I forgive you." I whisper, pretending to be my loving, forgiving mother. He sighs and shuffles  away from the door, back down stairs to his room. Breathing deep, I go back to my window.

Don't think that what I did was kind or whatever, I did it to avoid the whip! I here something being tapped on my window and grunt. It's 2am, why is everyone around me?!

To no surprise, it Sasha. I let her up and she hugs me. Tears are in her eyes and my eyes fade to red.
"What happened?" I ask, sitting her on my bed. There has only been one time I've seen Sasha this upset and let her guard down and it's when her cat Spike died last year. Travis was the same way, he loved her cat more then I think she did.

"My parents..." she said into her hands. The Alexandra's have always hated us Shadow Knights, for many reasons! They mostly really hated me and Gene because I'm the trouble maker and Gene is...well Gene.
Her and her parents always get into arguments about us and usually Sasha looses. She really hates coming to me about parent issues since I've obviously got it worse, but she's really the only one I'm actually happy to help with.

A few hours pass, Me and Sasha talked about random stuff, along with her Mom and Dad. She eventually gathered herself together and snuk home. By now, it's around 5am and schools in almost 2 hours.

Yay.

I lay on my bed and open my phone to see a text from Casanova. Ignoring it, I go to my music and listen to a band called Set it off. My music is then cut off from a call from Raven.
