Y/N POV
"How awful is it?" Travis asks. I shake my head no. "Not bad, he did damage like always, but your nose should be fine." I sigh. Of course I got beaten when I got home and Travis did when he got in. I did what I could, but my dad was somehow a lot stronger since we last saw him. Travis nodded and walked out of the bathroom to his room. My dad was in his room downstairs doing who Irene knows what. Travis was still really pissed at me, I don't blame him. I'm pissed at me too, I was going to leave him with that shell of a man. I go to my room and try to do my homework, which is what I got beaten for this time. I'm apparently falling Math and Science so they let my dad know.
I saw my phone light up and Gene's name came up. I pick up the call.
Gene ~ Hey Y/N ~ What do you want? Gene ~ Is that any way to talk to one of your only friends? Y/N ~ Not in a great mood Gene, what do you need? Gene ~ Can I guess your the cause of your mood? Y/N ~ I'm farting out rainbows. Speak smart ass! Gene ~ Alright, Fine! Can you meet us at school early tomorrow? Y/N ~ Ehhhh, why? Gene ~ Just meet us there Y/N ~ Ok, I'll be there Gene ~ Good! I hang up and go to Travis's room. I knock on the door and get no answer. I knock again, no answer. I walk into Travis's room and almost vomit. "Travis?!" I yell. He's on his bed, with a bottle of pills next to him, pale as a ghost. I shake him and put my fingers to his neck. No pulse. I check the bottle, it's an empty bottle of Tylenol. "Travis, baby brother wake up!" I yell. "TRAVIS!" I yell again. My dad runs up at sees me over him. He takes me and throws me and screams "YOU KILL EVERYONE YOU TOUCH! YOU SHOULD JUST DIE YOU BITCH!"

I wake up with a gasp and tears in my eyes! I look around my room and see I fell asleep on my bed doing homework. I looked at my call log, I did answer Gene so I must have fallen asleep after we talked. I got up, wiped my tears and rapidly knocked on Travis's door. He answered and I sighed. "What's up with you?" He asks and goes back to his bed, but I stop him and give him a hug. He hugs back and sighs. "You had the dream this time?" He asks. I let him go and nod. He smiles a little and his green eyes have their sparkle back in them. "I'm still standing, yeah, yeah, yeah." He sings and I laugh. I tell him that Gene wanted to meet with us and he agreed to come. I ruffle his hair and go back to my room. Thank Irene that it was only a dream. I change into my pjs and finish my homework. I read on my phone until I slowly fall asleep.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! 5:15 am
"Gene, you own me big time." I gargle and slam off my alarm. I change into my uniform and slump to Travis's room, but then Travis was slumping up to wake me up. "Can I help you yell at Gene?" He asked with a light laugh. I smiled and nodded. We grabbed our stuff and walked to the school. We walk up the main stairs and see Sasha and Zenix at the fountain, but no Gene. As soon as we reach the group, the Shadow Knights get a text from him.

"What ye have little faith!" Sasha yells and we laugh. Travis looks at me with curiosity and I gave him a smirk. "Can you introduce me to your friends today? I want to meet the people who want to know my baby brother." I ask. Travis's eyes go wide. "I'll text them all right now!" He says and runs off. Sasha and Zenix Hold back their laughter. "I hate this already and it hasn't even started." I groaned. Sasha nods. "Still, that group is so peppy! I'm happy that all I have to do is get close to Aaron!" She laughs. I roll my eyes at Zenix. "My job is easy too, Y/N knows how to take care of herself!" Sasha slaps him over the head and I burst out laughing. We walk to the back of the school and tag it and then I quickly run off to start my part of the plan.
"Hey Y/N!" Travis calls. He, Raven, Blueberry, Player(Dante), Laurence, Gar Gar, Emo, and Pink~Chan walk up to me. Irene, Sasha wasn't joking! Raven had a huge smile on her face, Laurence looked suspicious to me, so did Blueberry and Player. Gar Gar looked like he really didn't want to be there and Emo hid in the back of the group. I'm going to go out on a lim and say he was forced there by Raven. "Hi." I wave. Blueberry scoffs. "Travis, why are we here again?" Player asks. I roll my eyes as Travis looks at Player with a bit of anger. "She's my sister dude!" Travis yells and punches Player in the arm, causing me and Blueberry. Sasha and Aaron walk by laughing, which makes me smile evilly. There is no way that this isn't going to work! "Why are you guys talking with that Shadow Knight?" A voice asks from behind me. LEGGY!? What??
"A What?" Raven asks. Travis goes to explain what we are, but I shove my hand over his face. "Leggy, don't you have somewhere else to hang out? Like with your popular friends you give a shit about hair and makeup?" I scold. Gar Gar, Blueberry and Laurence all hold in their laughs. Leggy 'hmffs' and then struts off. That was a close one. "Will Y/N and Travis Valkrum please report to the principle's office? Thank you." A voice over the loud speaker says. Ugghhhhhhhh!
